Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council, KH. Marsudi Syuhud: I am confident that Mr. Prabowo’s administration can continue Mr. Jokowi’s legacy.
The Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), KH. Marsudi Syuhud, hopes that the new President and Vice President will continue the legacy of President Jokowi.
He believes that the sustainability efforts to be undertaken will have a very positive impact on the stability felt by the community.
“We hope that this will continue to the new President and Vice President, and that what President Jokowi has done will be carried on.” “Don’t let anything be interrupted, because if it gets interrupted, there will be something that becomes idle, then stops and is less beneficial,” explained KH Marsudi Syuhud to the media in Jakarta, Friday (September 20, 2024).
What has been accomplished during President Jokowi’s term is evident to all; a significant amount of infrastructure has been built, and all the necessities that are greatly needed today have been established.
“President Jokowi builds the welfare of the nation despite the diversity.” Even Indonesia, when viewed from abroad, seems very comfortable compared to countries that have not yet managed to live together. “The harmony among religious communities is going well,” he explained.
“I am confident that the upcoming government will be able to continue various initiatives of previous presidents, and carry them forward according to the grand plans. Everything must be interconnected; we must not let the major plans that are already at this stage go unfinished,” he added.
