The existence of Habib Rizieq in Saudi Arabia has exceeded the tempo limit or overstayed, if depicted with songs, perhaps the song from the Armada Band Group, entitled Pulang Malu tidak Pulang Rindu, is the right title to describe the current situation of Habib Rizieq.
Previously, the FPI frontman was being a bargaining point for reconciliation. However, after Jokowi’s meeting with Prabowo some time ago on the MRT, the conditions for the guarantee of returning Habib Rizieq as a credit point or a reward for the realization of reconciliation seemed to fade. Although of course his followers still want and try so he can go home as soon as possible.
Countless times the opposition has always thrown accusations that it is the government or incumbent that hinders the process of returning Habib Rizieq to Indonesia, even though the accusation is without any valid evidence or data that hinders the return of the famous provocative figure.
The Indonesian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia also provided clarification on the allegations, that Habib Rizieq had overstayed, and if he wanted to return to his homeland, he had to pay a fine of around Rp. 110 million, after paying a fine if there were no legal problems that happened to him. , He can leave Saudi Arabia.
Even HRS had flown to Morocco for a purpose and could return to Saudi Arabia, this proved that indeed if Habib Rizieq wanted to go home, he could use the opportunity to fly directly from Morocco to Indonesia. Logically, for what Indonesia has banned the return of Habib Rizieq, yet he went to Saudi Arabia on his own initiative. If the detention of Habib Rizieq in Saudi Arabia is an intervention of the Indonesian government, then what is the legal basis of the government of the Arab kingdom to detain Habib Rizieq?
If indeed this happens, of course Habib Rizieq can bring this matter to the court of Saudi Arabia because Saudi Arabian authorities do not have a strong basis to detain Habib Rizieq from returning to Indonesia.
Surely only Habib Rizieq and the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs could answer it, because it really does not make sense if the Government of Indonesia can dictate Malaysia to prevent Habib Rizieq from coming or entering Malaysia, even if there is intervention and what interests, there is absolutely no urgency.
This shows that in foreign policy, we must be careful and must not interfere in the internal affairs of the government concerned, especially if we will commit crimes against our own citizens abroad, as in the case of Jamal Khashoggi who was killed in Istanbul, who can causing world reaction and criticism.
Therefore, if Habib Rizieq longs for his homeland and longs for his sympathizers, now is the most appropriate time if he wants to return to his homeland, because the political atmosphere after the meeting between Jokowi and Prabowo, was able to melt the atmosphere, the rupiah also strengthened almost every day, now it’s below the Rp. 14,000 figure, this indicates that political stability has become more conducive.

What is clear is that Indonesia is entering a peaceful political atmosphere, the polarization between camps has begun to subside, supporters and sympathizers have returned to their respective activities.
If Habib Rizieq cannot go home, at least he who is fluent in Arabic can still socialize with the people who are there, if Habib Rizieq feels homesick, just use technology to video call with his sympathizers, while listening to Armada’s song “Go Home Malu Tak Home Rindu”.
