The existence of the Free Papua Organization (OPM) and its “political wing” such as ULMWP, WPNA, NRFPB, AMP, KNPB and other civilian organizations became ap in the husks that undermined the progress of Papua and the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. The community supports the Government’s firm stand to suppress the group in each of Indonesia’s sovereign territories.
Why must it be banned? If TPN / OPM commits criminal acts and violates human rights such as killing civilians such as toll road construction workers, motorcycle taxi drivers, migrants and others, then ULMWP et al take actions that tarnish democracy such as voicing self-determination and referendum even though Papua integration is final, commemorating Papua Papua annexation day every May 1 even though that date is Papua integration day, questioning the New York Agreement even though it is already legal, making their own KTPs such as NRFPB and doing thanksgiving voices in support of separatism and so on.
Allegedly by intelligence and law enforcement officials, the existence of TPN / OPM and its “political wing” is due to the misappropriation of the use of Otsus funds6, which has been loosely monitored, and even always gets the title of “WTP alias Fair without Examination”.
The condition is exacerbated by elements of the government bureaucracy that are pro to OPM and its allies, even if it will be examined, “immediately fled” out of the country without permission.
Some Papuan students especially those who are members of the Papuan Student Alliance or the existing AMP in several provinces and cities / regencies are also pro-separatists, proven to frequently shout out referendums as the final solution to overcome the Papuan problem, where their activities have been sniffed by state apparatuses and only have to be dealt with severely. alone, let alone it is suspected that they were funded by the Special Autonomy Fund, while many students from Papua who have a sense of nationalism did not receive the Special Autonomy Fund.
