There is good news in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. The number of patients recovering increased by 506 people in 24 hours. This proves that some government policies to deal with the Covid-19 virus are right on target, so that more and more patients get well. It is hoped that all infected patients will recover 100%, so that Indonesia can be free of Corona.
Patients who develop symptoms such as dizziness, shortness of breath, loss of sense of smell, and high fever, may be exposed to the Covid-19 virus. After being treated for about 14 days, he recovered. the number of patients recovering continues to increase every day. As of June 23, 2020, there were more than 500 people free from Corona. They were declared 100% cured after being tested twice.
A total of 506 Corona-free patients increased the total number of patients healed to 19,241 people. As from the beginning of the pandemic. This was revealed by Achmd Yurianto, a government spokesman for handling Covid-19, when doing live broadcasts on BNPB’s official channel account on Youtube.
The number of people recovering from Corona certainly makes people relieved. Because from the beginning it was attacked by the Covid-19 virus, which recovered there were 19,241 people, while those who died there were a total of 2,535 people. The ratio between cured and untreated patients is 21: 1. Far more people survived than lost their lives due to Corona.
The recovery of tens of thousands of Covid-19 patients is clear evidence of the success of the Indonesian government in overcoming Corona’s ferocity. Since the beginning of the pandemic, everyone is required to stay at home because the virus is still roaming the streets and can be transmitted through droplets. Coupled with the rules of work from home and school from home, so many people are saved from Corona transmission.
Everyone is also required to wear cloth masks and maintain body hygiene by washing hands or wearing hand sanitizers. The public is also prohibited from holding events that invite crowds because they violate physical distancing rules. And is expected to maintain the body’s immunity so it is not easily infected with the Covid-19 virus. These rules continue to be echoed through television, radio and social media. So people memorized and obeyed immediately.
When the private and regional hospitals began to be inconvenienced, a University Hospital was appointed to help treat Corona patients. So everyone who is infected with the Covid-19 virus gets proper medical treatment and can get well soon. They also do not have to worry about the costs, because it is already borne by the state.
The medical personnel are also provided with a special place to stay overnight by the government. So do not be afraid to infect his family at home after work. That place is not just an ordinary mess, but very livable. This is very good because it can cut the path of transmission of the Covid-19 virus to many people outside the Hospital.
The government also budgeted huge funds in the 2020 State Budget to deal with Corona. Among them to buy medical devices that are needed in hospitals, such as ventilators. The money is also to buy hazmat clothes (PPE), medicines, masks, gloves, and intensive for medical workers who are willing to risk their lives for the healing of patients. So they stay on duty and don’t have to worry about how to buy a new PPE.
Corona patients recovered to reach tens of thousands of people. The government has proven that policies such as stay at home, complying with health protocols and maintaining hygiene and immunity can overcome Corona’s ferocity. Assistance in the form of ventilators and other medical devices is also given to hospitals that handle Covid-19.
