The Koalisi Aksi Menyelamatkan Indonesia (KAMI) continues to provoke the people to hate the government and injure democracy. In fact, the organization consists of bright senior figures. But unfortunately his intelligence is used to injure democracy and want to change the political order in Indonesia.
When the coalition to save Indonesia made a public declaration, 10 KAMI decrees and 8 demands to the government were read. According to them, currently the government is not able to control Indonesia. Even called our country is like a ship that is sinking, so it needs to be saved as soon as possible.
However, people do not necessarily believe their babbling. Because what is being said is far from the fire. Not based on the realities in people’s lives. But KAMI members continue to cast nets to get more supporters and sympathizers. The goal is that their popularity will rise and become provisions, for the sake of the presidential election in 4 years.
KAMI break the rules and overturn democracy for their political ambitions. When giving speeches and declarations, the reason is because Indonesia is a democratic country. So it takes opposition to balance government power. However, they are playing the victim when asked why they can only hate speech without giving solutions to the people.
One of KAMI actions in injuring democracy is that they insist on changing the rules during the presidential election. Since 2004, we have elected the country’s leaders directly via elections. However, the KAMI members want to return the way the presidential election is going to the era of the shoulder, namely by voting via the MPR members.
This is a fatal mistake because it is a regression to democracy in Indonesia. Why does it seem to be back in the New Order era? Even though we are already in the reform era. There should be no such practice anymore, because it is tantamount to making the state primitive again. The direct presidential election is more representative of the wishes of Indonesian citizens, don’t change it arbitrarily.
Politician Ferdinand Hutahean stated that our existence was only intended to use democracy and freedom of association, to fulfill the egoism of its members. They are only victims of personal political egos. In that sense it is permissible to criticize the government in a democratic country. But the way is not like KAMI do.
In a democratic country, it is permissible for the left wing or the opposition whose task is to criticize. The goal is for leadership to run smoothly and in balance. However, if KAMI put ourselves in the opposition, we must give logical criticism. Do not just copy them and motivate personal revenge, because they are no longer appointed as officials.
Don’t they know the right way to criticize? It is okay to give input to the government, but if it can’t be done politely, don’t let it come out just scolding. Either through direct statements or status on social media. Don’t let them become subject to ITE laws for exposing hatred to the government on Twitter.
If KAMI want to provide input and criticism, then we can ask for an audition directly before the President, or meet with members of the DPR. Because they are people’s representatives whose job is to listen to people’s complaints. As people of old age, the KAMI members should be ashamed of their age, for criticizing in an obscure way, just like a child.
Our presence failed to get popularity and attention from the public, because they violated many rules. Apart from only being able to sue the government, they overthrew democracy by insisting on making presidential elections via the MPR. Don’t let the destruction happen because of them.
The way they carelessly curse at the government and make people not sympathetic at all. KAMI have failed to get a place in the hearts of the people. The proof is that the KAMI declaration in Bandung was rejected out of hand by many people. They are only considered as a group of chaos who cannot orderly carry out democracy in Indonesia.
