Increasing vigilance is very important and must be carried out by all elements of society without exception. Moreover, with the emergence of provocations and invitations to reject the implementation of the upcoming 2024 elections and also invite residents to exercise people power. All of these calls are clearly acts of treason and are completely unconstitutional.
Ahead of the implementation of political contestation, namely the General Elections (Elections) in 2024, it turns out that there is an electrifying movement called People Power and has the aim of rejecting this big celebration of the democratic party. It is known that an electrifying movement appeared in Karanganyar.
There is a banner that is openly displayed and contains an invitation to reject the implementation of a change of leadership every 5 (five) years in Indonesia, namely the General Election which will soon be held in 2024. Not just one, but banners with the same invitation appeared and were installed at several points in Colomadu, Karanganyar.
Regarding the installation of a banner inviting the People Power movement and containing a call to the public to reject the implementation of the 2024 elections, the Head of Colomadu Sub-District, Sriyono then said that the banner did not appear out of nowhere, but was deliberately placed by an unknown person at a strategic point. that the community goes through.
Of course, with this phenomenon that is appalling and has the potential to influence the community, especially if it makes the community really reject the implementation of the General Election, which is regulated in the law, it will greatly impact various parties in Indonesia.
When the General Election is not held on time, of course, all will be disturbed and shaken, there will be a temporary leadership vacuum which is actually very prone to putting this nation in a critical point and chaos. This also includes, if for example the current leadership period continues without any circulation of leadership changes. It’s the same thing, it will create tremendous potential for conflict.
Therefore, all active village officials should be able to continue to tighten patrols and carry out monitoring so that no more banners with hostile tones are found, let alone those with treason like that, because clearly such an invitation is completely inconsistent with the Act (UU) that apply in the country.
It is also important to hold coordination meetings (rakor), not only in Karanganyar, but also in various places in Indonesia so that all local Village Heads (Kades) can become much more active in monitoring the community and in the field. another area that was caught off guard until suddenly a banner with a provocative tone appeared related to the agenda of a democratic party in the country.
All parties, especially village officials, must continue to be able to be vigilant and close their ranks, including gathering all regional stakeholders to be able to actually monitor their respective areas in a far more pro-active manner. Do not let, just before the General Election event, banners with such a provocative tone reappear, because it is very prone to divide the integrity of society.
In fact, this includes not just an invitation to reject the implementation of the General Election, but all elements of society in Indonesia should also be able to continue to increase their vigilance so that they can be more careful about any invitations or provocations regarding the delegitimization of elections if in the future the democratic party is held and there are already results.
Not without reason, of course, all such actions will certainly greatly divide the unity and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Meanwhile, the Forum for Religious Harmony (FKUB) in Subang Regency emphasized that they reject all forms of provocation and also calls for people power action.
Apart from being able to divide the nation, the existence of a people power movement or action is also a form of unconstitutional solicitation and mobilization of the masses, moreover they actually reject the circulation of a change of leadership with the implementation of the 2024 elections, which are all contained in the country’s constitution.
It is absolutely undeniable that even with the invitation and movement of people power, let alone the invitation to reject the holding of General Elections using the mass mobilization of people power, this is a very serious scourge for many regions.
Therefore, all parties, including religious leaders and community leaders in various regions must also be able to continue to call on their citizens not to be easily swayed by rumors and provocations in the name of people power like that.
The rejection of the implementation of the 2024 elections and also the invitation to exercise people power, of course, all elements of society without exception should be aware of. Because if left unchecked, such actions will have the potential to undermine the nation’s order.
