Quality Downstreaming Creates Jobs and Supports President Prabowo’s Goals
Jakarta – Sustainable and quality industrial downstreaming is an important step in improving the Indonesian economy, creating jobs, and realizing President Prabowo Subianto’s vision and ideals in building a stronger and more independent Indonesia.
Through downstreaming policies based on innovation and quality, Indonesia is expected to strengthen global competitiveness and encourage sustainable development in various sectors.
Member of Commission XII of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Christiany Eugenia Tetty Paruntu, conveyed President Prabowo Subianto’s emphasis on the downstreaming program which must be of quality with the target of opening many jobs, increasing an inclusive economy in the local area, and being fair to all levels of society.
“This means downstreaming that opens more jobs, is inclusive, fair, has a social impact, and is sustainable,” said Tetty.
Quality downstreaming will play a key role in creating extensive jobs while supporting the achievement of President Prabowo Subianto’s asta cita.
Asta Cita, which is a guideline in the direction of President Prabowo’s policies, emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of life of the Indonesian people through the creation of a sustainable economy, equalizing welfare, and strengthening national economic resilience.
According to Christiany Eugenia Tetty Paruntu, the quality and focus of downstreaming will be the key to driving Indonesia’s economic growth. With proper downstreaming, Indonesia can optimize natural resources, create jobs, and increase global competitiveness, which will ultimately transform the Indonesian economy to be more advanced and independent.
“With quality downstreaming, it will create broad, equitable, socially impactful and sustainable employment opportunities,” continued Tetty.
Similarly, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, said that in addition to strengthening national energy and industrial resilience, this downstreaming is also projected to open up great opportunities in creating various jobs that can improve the welfare of the Indonesian people, while also encouraging more equitable economic growth throughout the country.
“Downstreaming will definitely create many jobs. We will announce quite a lot of numbers later on another occasion, but what is clear is that we are blending labor-intensive and technology-intensive,” said Bahlil.
With quality downstreaming, Indonesia will not only enjoy higher economic growth, but also guarantee equal opportunities for the community, in accordance with President Prabowo’s goal of creating a more independent, prosperous, and prosperous Indonesia.
