The handling of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2022 is believed to be better because the Government already has experience from the previous year. The public is also advised to always obey Prokes and various other government policies.
The year 2021 has just passed and we are still struggling to survive and not catch this dangerous disease. The government continues to overcome the various effects of the pandemic, especially in the economic field. The decline in people’s purchasing power does make traders dizzy but we are optimistic that this will change in 2022.
The spokesman for the Covid-19 Task Force Team, Professor Wiku Adisasmito, stated that the struggle (to overcome Corona) is not over but we are optimistic to welcome the new year with prayers and hopes. Hopefully in 2022 there will be fewer Corona patients and more controlled Covid cases in Indonesia and the world.
Prof. Wiku continued to express his gratitude to all elements of society who have struggled in dealing with Corona and its negative effects. Starting from the COVID-19 task force team, doctors, nurses, and other health workers, as well as volunteers who work extra hard to make everything heal.
We are optimistic that the handling of the pandemic in 2022 will be much better because first, the number of Covid patients continues to decrease. If last month the number of Corona patients was still in the range of 500s per day, at the end of December, only 200 per day. It is hoped that in January 2022 the number of patients will decrease again so that it can reach 0, which means the pandemic can end soon.
The decline in the number of Corona patients occurred because everyone was obedient in carrying out the points in the health protocol. So, in 2022, we must not be slack and negligent. Instead, we must be more diligent in campaigning for the use of double masks (to strengthen filtration), diligently washing hands or using hand sanitizers, and maintaining distance.
If you want 2022 to be safe, then the way to handle the effects of the Corona pandemic is to keep spreading the importance of health protocols. The reason is that some are still not in an orderly manner, for example holding a celebration on the grounds that the situation is safe (due to the decrease in the number of Corona patients) even though he clearly violates the rules of social distancing.
Don’t forget the fact that at this time Corona continues to mutate and finally Omicron. The mutated virus will be more virulent and spread quickly, so health protocols must be disciplined without exception. Don’t let 2022 turn into a disaster because the number of Covid patients is rising again, just because many are lazy to wear masks and ignore other procedures.
The year 2022 must be passed optimistically and the handling of Corona must be even better. The national vaccination program is still continuing because currently only about 60% of Indonesian citizens have been injected. Vaccinations will be further boosted so that people’s immunity will increase and be safe from Corona transmission (provided that they adhere to the 10M health protocol).
To deal with the impact of the pandemic in 2022, vaccinations will be intensified, especially for children. Currently the Sinovac vaccine can be injected into children aged 6 to 12 years, so they can be safe from Corona transmission, and the vaccine is very important because children are more at risk.
The handling of the effects of the pandemic on the economy will also be continued in 2022. The way to do this is by continuing the national economic development project so that more infrastructure will also improve financial conditions. In addition, the government increased the KUR for MSME entrepreneurs, so that more and more people received capital loans, so that the wheels of the economy returned to normal.
There are various impacts of the pandemic that we have been through for the past 2 years. However, we must be optimistic that 2022 will be a new breakthrough, where the effects of the pandemic ranging from health to the economy will soon be overcome. As good citizens, we must support all government programs, including vaccinations.
