The rejection of the organizations constitution by radical mass organizations began to be re-voiced after about six radical mass organizations were dissolved by the government, not only that the issue was also accompanied by the classic issue that is considered still a public ghost that is the issue of revival of Communist ideology, This issue will be voiced again and packed with in such a way by a large crowd in an action called 299.
These two issues are deliberately exaggerated to achieve a certain goal of a handful of groups with interests ahead of the 2018 elections and 2019 presidential election to change the direction of the State policy.
The issuance of the Public Order Institution Constitution is considered very good and has entered the realm of the establishment mechanism of a true organization, but in the process of enforcing this Constitution there are some radical groups that feel disturbed. So exaggerated Issue that the government is no longer pro against the democratic system, whereas before these organizations did not also agree on a government-adopted democratic system, even tend to take government experts and change the existing system.
From any point of view the allegations of radical mass organizations are so unfounded and out of logic, how can a radical mass organization mention itself struggling in a democracy that was previously forbidden by themselves. This seems to be deliberately created by them in order to get great support for demanding the government to revise the regulation of this undemocratic regulation.
When viewed from the content of Constitution No. 2 of 2017 about organization, its contents are not as well as in the embroilment of radical mass organizations. This Constitution only affirms and emphasizes on the principle of the establishment of mass organizations must be in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution and the prohibition to mass organizations not to conduct provocative acts of hostility and hatred among ethnic, religious, racial or class.
In addition to radical mass organizations, there are some organizations that are affiliated with political parties participate feel disturbed by this Constitution because in this mass organizations Constitution are also emphasized the banning of mass organizations not to participate in the political activities of a party.
Attempts to attack the government by a mob group of movers of action 299 are also reinforced by additional issues concerning communist ghosts with the aim of undermining President Joko Widodho’s governmental policies. This form of weakness is designed to form a paradigm in the community that there is a linkage of Head of State in maneuvering communist groups into the system of state government.
In fact the allegations of the issue are very much contrary to the facts, whereas the government has been very clear and firmly stated that the government strongly rejects and will crack down on all forms of revival and development of the Communist in Indonesia with reference to TAP MPRS No. 25 of 1966 on the dissolution of the PKI and the declaration of the PKI as a forbidden organization in Indonesia, it is stated explicitly during the Speech of President Joko Widodho.
Looking at the history of the defeat of Ahok in the 2016 Jakarta Regional Head Election, this 299 action activity has the same pattern with the action of 212 in 2016, the purpose of this action in addition to striving for the revival of the mass organization “which buzzed the Caliphate”, was also used by political groups to impose or damage the image of President Joko Widodho in the 2019 presidential election.
According to field data, the 299 action was initiated by the 212 presidium and former HTI officials with most of the 299 members of the action coming from Islamic political organizations. Back again to the original question how can a mass organization that never supports democracy voiced as if supporting democracy must work in this country. The issue of rejecting communist revival is also considered only as a decoration to voice a similar support from a prominent public figure who is expected to follow the 2019 presidential election.
If only the community or the group that would follow this action would be a little critical thinking may be found a political conspiracy in a great design pursued by interest groups aimed at changing the political escalation and the direction of government policy that could endanger the integrity of the nation and the safety of each- every resident of this Country.
If the direction of the State’s policy is always questioned and changed for the sake of a group, then a prosperous, fair, and safety Indonesia State that set forth in the mandate of the 1945 Constitution is just a narrative in an old book whose credibility is no longer sustainable.
A special effort that occurs in action 212 has been accomplished successfully, it is not possible if the action with same patterns made by a group of people who have certain interests can undermine and change the direction and system of the State. Therefore try to support the direction of existing government policies so that the ideals in the mandate of the 1945 Constitution is not just a narrative in an old book.
