Health is the most valuable asset in building a strong, prosperous, and globally competitive nation. The government under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has swiftly responded to this challenge by launching the Free Health Check Program, a real breakthrough that is the spearhead of efforts to prevent chronic diseases nationally.

This extraordinary policy not only shows the government’s strong commitment to health, but also becomes real evidence of siding with the common people. Free routine health checks, at least once a year, are the right of all people from toddlers to the elderly. In this way, the government provides comprehensive protection from an early age to old age in the spirit of building superior and competitive human resources.

The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, stated with full confidence that this program aims to encourage people to care more about their own health conditions. According to him, the culture of waiting to get sick to get checked must be changed into a culture of healthy and preventive living. He emphasized that routine check-ups are not only a medical step, but also a reflection of the lifestyle of a progressive and health-conscious society.

The government has shown extraordinary support for improving the quality of life of the people, because with early detection, the burden of serious diseases can be prevented. This program is not only oriented towards treatment, but more towards prevention, which is a strategic approach to modern health development.

The Free Health Check Program is part of the eight national priority programs of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran, which directly touch the basic needs of the community. With a routine check-up scheme for all age groups, the government prioritizes the sustainability and equality of health services, including for people in remote and border areas.

The Head of the Sangihe Islands Regency Health Office, dr. Handry Pasandaran, ME, gave high appreciation to this program. He stated that healthy human resources are the main foundation of regional and national development. Therefore, according to him, all levels of local government, from the regent to the governor, fully support this policy. Furthermore, he explained that early detection will open up greater opportunities for patients to recover and remain productive, while encouraging healthy people to maintain their condition.

The central government’s commitment to expanding access and coverage of health services is a monumental step that deserves the full support of all elements of the nation. The government is not only present, but also actively creates an inclusive and equitable public health system.

Deputy Minister of Health, Dante Saksono Harbuwono, said that the scope of the program is now more flexible and reaches more people. He highlighted the old habit of people waiting for certain moments such as birthdays to undergo check-ups, and said that the government is now opening wider access so that people can check their health at any time, without obstacles. This shows that the state is truly present to serve the people optimally.

According to Dante, the great benefits of this program are not only from the individual side, but also have a systemic impact on the country. With early detection, the government can significantly reduce the burden of health insurance financing, because chronic diseases can be treated early before they develop into more severe complications.

Furthermore, Dante also emphasized that health checks in this program include both physical and mental health. This shows that the government has a holistic view in building the whole Indonesian person. By targeting mental health, this program provides comprehensive protection and improves the quality of life as a whole. Cases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, dental disorders, to hearing disorders and mental health can now be detected and treated early.

The Free Health Check Policy is also a real form of government concern for the welfare of the people in the long term. Health checks are no longer a cost burden, but a free facility provided by the government as a form of state protection for its citizens.

This program is also expected to form a national collective movement that makes routine health checks a part of people’s lifestyles. By understanding their respective body conditions, people can implement a healthy lifestyle such as regulating their diet, exercising regularly, and maintaining mental health. This is in line with the government’s big goal of building healthy, intelligent, and resilient Indonesian people.

The government hasah prepares various supporting facilities to make this program a success, such as Community Health Centers, clinics, and government hospitals throughout Indonesia. There is no longer any reason for the public to postpone the examination. The state is present wholeheartedly to create a healthy and productive generation.

The Free Health Check Program is not just a medical program, but part of a national movement to transform the culture of health. The government invites all people not to wait for disease to strike, but to take proactive steps early on. Active community participation will be a great force in suppressing the number of chronic diseases, reducing the death rate, and increasing the human development index.

The government under the command of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran has proven its total commitment to the people, especially in health matters, which are the basic rights of every citizen. Through the synergy of all elements of the nation, Indonesia will continue to advance to become a healthy, strong, and hopeful country.
