The situation leading up to the inauguration of the President and the Vice President tends to be safe and conducive. Nevertheless, all parties need to anticipate the maneuvering of anti-democratic groups who want to derail the state agenda.
The movement of groups with deviant understandings is considered so neat and structured, including anti-democratic groups which are still mostly found in Mother Earth. This was also guaranteed by the Speaker of the Parliament, Puan Maharani, who also confirmed the possibility of an attack ahead of the inauguration on the 20th of October.
He considered if the mass action was infiltrated. He also added that if the intelligence report was confidential, it should not be detected. If there is detection, this will be a warning to all parties concerned to anticipate and mitigate. However, he did not want to tell the form of detection and what and how to anticipate it, because it would be carried out by the relevant security authorities.
According to political observer IPI (Indonesian Public Institute, namely Karyono Wibowo also expressed his allegations related to anti-democratic groups who tried to thwart the inauguration of Jokowi on October 20. However, the strength of this group was judged to be unable to disrupt this procession. efforts to tackle the state agenda.
This is because the anti-democratic group considers the police and government officials to be part of the thogut group so it is worth fighting. However, so far he sees no significant indicator of the emergence of the action. He also explained that the action of the students so far was not intended to frustrate the inauguration, but it could have been a radical group that deliberately became a stowaway. And utilize that momentum for destructive purposes. This organization will also cause chaos which will disturb security stability as well as political instability.
Another opinion came from a Member of Parliament, the Golkar Faction, Dr. TB Ace Hasan Syadzily who said, should, before the inauguration was enlivened with a celebration that was full of enthusiasm and joy. Because, the presidential election period has been able to pass well and safely. So that the effort to cancel the state agenda does not need to be feared in terms of politics. He also explained that the KPU as the organizer of the election had also been tested constitutionally. Likewise, all people also see the election process carried out democratically. If there is a deficiency of course it is also already regulated in the constitution.
He also said that to reduce political tension, Jokowi had also held a meeting with Prabowo. Not only that, Jokowi also met with the Chairman of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan. Even the former mayor of Solo was also meeting with SBY, namely as Chairman of the Democratic Party. According to Jokowi’s report, the political party officials met with the officials to show that the electoral process was finished and the results obtained were the people’s victory. Thus, all parties must greet him with an overflow of excitement rather than the opposite.
Furthermore, Ace said that if student demonstrations in various regions that demanded the KPPU Law Perppu were considered not related to the inauguration of the president. Because what the students demand is not about rejection of Jokowi’s appointment as President-elect. However, more on the KPK Law which is considered not in accordance with the system of eradicating corruption. Even if there are parties who disagree with Jokowi’s victory, it means that the party is included in anti-democracy. Even though this country is based on national pillars.
In relation to various appeals for vigilance against anti-democratic groups, it seems indeed quite basic. Moreover, this procession was attended by heads of state and a number of high officials of friendly countries. So it is unethical if there are demonstrations regarding this anti-democratic ideology.
Given, all the series of presidential and vice presidential election processes have been carried out constitutionally and witnessed by all elements of society. Meanwhile, the decision given by the KPU is not instant, but based on evidence and detailed calculations are also careful.
In this regard, the inauguration was the climax of the 2019 Election which was the people’s mandate. Therefore, the program needs to be held solemnly and conducive by all elements of society without exception. In addition, the inauguration along with taking the oath of office is a sign that the beginning of a new journey to develop Indonesia is more advanced.
