Communities of Various Regions Reject KAMI Declaration
Since the Koalisi Aksi Menyelamatkan Indonesia (KAMI) was declared, the group’s existence has apparently received pros and cons to rejection by various parties, even in the regions.
In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Koalisi Aksi Menyelamatkan Indonesia (KAMI) continues to insist on making a declaration. The public did not remain silent and responded to the declaration with various objections. One form of rejection of KAMIis addressed by the Tegal City Defenders of the Fatherland Alliance (APETA). The alliance firmly rejects the presence of KAMI in the Tegal City area.
Imam Kharomain as the coordinator of the action in his oration said that the only action to save Indonesia with a solution in a pandemic condition like this is the unity and integrity of all elements of society to provide strong support to the government.
Mutual cooperation and hand in hand, together in order to help the government, which is currently working hard to overcome the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Imam said that he and APETA strongly rejected the declaration plan or the existence and all forms of KAMI steps in Tegal City.
The government under the leadership of President Joko Widodo has been and is working to improve the country’s economy amid the Covid-19 pandemic and other challenges. So that what KAMI demand is baseless and unclear.
In particular, the city of Tegal is a city with a safe, serene and peaceful atmosphere that upholds the high ideology of the Indonesian state.
In this action, apart from giving speeches, the masses also took theatrical action to reject the presence of KAMI. The action was a Monologue performance by Apas Kapasi with the title “Are We Already Free” with a duration of 10 minutes.
KAMI existence has become a controversy because it failed to get popular support. Even from young to old people reject it. People think that KAMI are too confident but forget that the people today are hard to lie because they are politically literate.
Our presence seems to want to show the government’s many mistakes. But unfortunately this turned out to be a blunder because the community rejected their existence. Because KAMI are considered provocateurs who incite the people to participate in hating the government.
On a different occasion, Karyono Wibowo assessed the Coalition Action to Save Indonesia movement was still too elite because it only produced big national figures.
Rejection of KAMI also occurred in Purworejo Regency. This rejection was because the coalition initiated by Gatot Nurmantyo cs was considered to have other interests and could threaten national stability.
Coordinator of the Red and White Soldier, Daryanto, said that the declaration was deliberately held because of the existence of KAMI, which were considered to have other interests that could threaten NKRI.
According to Daryanto, the existence of the KAMI which was declared massively on the pretext of being a moral action was allegedly having other interests that threaten the stability of national security.
KAMI existence is considered to have friction between fellow nationals, if this is allowed to continue, it is feared that it will become the seeds of division in Indonesia.
In addition, the KAMI movement often provokes the public with hate propaganda against the legitimate government and has a negative impact on the national situation. Furthermore, KAMI steps are very unethical considering that currently all elements of the nation are struggling tooth and nail against the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on the economic difficulties faced by the community.
Daryanto admitted that he was worried that the presence of KAMI would have a negative impact on the conduciveness of the regions, especially those having a big event, the Pilkada. He hopes that the community will also take part in maintaining the atmosphere to remain peaceful and conducive.
On different occasions, rejection also came from the Laskar Merah Putih Branch (LMP) of Pamekasan Regency, Madura, East Java (Jatim). Through the Head of LMPC Pamekasan, Agus Yulianto, said the rejection was none other than for the sake of maintaining the conduciveness of the residents. He is worried that the organization will only divide the nation which has been harmoniously so far.
He also invited the public to continue to forge national unity and integrity within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which is based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
The existence of the coalition in the midst of a pandemic is considered by most people to be able to divide the nation.
The KAMI Declaration was also considered inappropriate because these activities could disrupt the government’s focus in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
KAMI existence is certainly questionable, is it really a moral movement, or is it a movement to mobilize the masses to hate the government in an inelegant way.
