COVID – 19 AND GOVERNMET CARE
The Corona virus pandemic outbreak or which currently has an official international designation, namely Covid-19 first appeared in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China, in December 2019. At the beginning of its appearance, this virus was believed to have originated from animals, namely bats or from animals that are eaten in an immature state or less hygienic in the process of serving it. During its development, this virus is transformed very quickly so that it can be transmitted from human to human in a very short time, attacking the respiratory tract, namely coughs, colds, sore throat, and even shortness of breath.
Covid-19 has made the Wuhan government work hard to be able to overcome the spread of the virus which has very rapidly killed the population in Wuhan with the number of cases of people exposed to around 82,788 cases with a total death toll of around 4,632 cases. On this basis the Wuhan government also made a decision to lock down on January 23, 2020 on all transportation areas and residents were prohibited from carrying out activities outside the home. This was done to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19, which can be transmitted from person to person.
After the first case appeared in Wuhan which resulted in nearly thousands of people being infected and the Wuhan government’s policy of locking down, the case of the spread of Covid-19 became even more unstoppable because the number of people exposed to this virus was increasingly spreading to almost the entire country. It is known that countries in Europe are also affected by this virus, which is very large. One of them is Italy, which has confirmed the number of active cases around 187,327 with a total death of around 25,085 cases. A little introduction above regarding the beginning of the spread of Covid-19 which has been very widespread then what about in Indonesia which is currently also being hit by Covid-19? The answer, of course, is adaptable thanks to the government’s quick response in responding to its spread. When it first appeared in Indonesia, the government had made every effort to minimize its spread. Although the number of patients who have contracted Covid – 19 continues to increase, this is normal because the whole world is experiencing this. This form of rapid handling of the government is one of the government’s concerns for the community, so let’s support the government who is struggling to deal with Covid – 19. Rest assured, all the ways the government takes to deal with Covid – 19 are the best ways that will have a positive impact on society.
