Various historical and juridical literature shows that Papua is an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia. The development of the welfare of Papua also experiences a positive trend every year as evidence of the presence of the state for the community.
The apathy shown by the separatists will provide evidence that Papua is an integral part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, which seems to make many parties assess other indications. It’s not just a matter of Papuan independence that they want to achieve, but could there be anything else?
The issue of disintegration which was bustling last week due to racism towards Papuan students continues to roll. However, logically and logically, all evidence has been presented, legally and finally, by the international community. Even the majority of Papuans in fact still want to join Indonesia, especially when talking about OPM.
OPM has an international scale, but after examining the rapid development in its homeland (Papua) they decided to rejoin. Thousands of them too, you know! Not a small amount right?
The development of Papua is now considered to have reached several sectors. Namely, the economy, health, infrastructure, education and others. Living comfortably, safely and mingling with fellow citizens and living life with Papua’s abundant natural resource wealth, has become the choice of many residents there. However, it remains in the frame of the Republic of Indonesia.
Given, the opinion of ex-OPM who feel happier when together with Indonesia. This is not a mere figment, because there are indeed many real facts related to the implementation of equality and welfare in this Earth of Paradise.
Previously, various separatist movements in Papua which could result in disintegration of the Indonesian people. Their main desire is one thing, namely the Independence of Papua (separated from the territory of the Republic of Indonesia). However, it is not an easy matter, because Papua is an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia has fixed prices, can not be tampered with again. Many people criticize this kind of action.
Over time, this OPM resistance has declined, due to government efforts to overcome separatism. Not only decreased, but should be wiped out so that no one is disturbed and disadvantaged later.
No doubt the rapid development of infrastructure in order to improve the welfare of Papua is intensively carried out. This is a form of government if they do not choose or annull Papua. This apparently was not liked by the perpetrators of the separatist acts and eventually rebelled because of other indications of purpose.
Although considered trivial, but this kind of movement must be eradicated immediately so that there is no trace left. Do not be provoked by the issue of provocation which is detrimental to yourself and other parties. As good citizens we must support government programs in order to realize equitable and equitable development. So that there is no imbalance between all levels of society.
The most important thing is there is no division within the Republic of Indonesia, because there is no state in the country, right? This was also expressed by Jazuli Juwaini, as the Chairperson of the DPR RI PKS Faction. He said if West Papua was legitimate and reached its final point of being part of the Republic of Indonesia. So the news about the award Benny Wenda (Figure Separatis) for independent Papua has absolutely no effect on anything.
Because it has been historically and juridical clear that Papua and West Papua are legitimately part of the Republic of Indonesia. It also received recognition and respect from the international community, including from the British government.
Jazuli revealed that the British government officially supports the territorial sovereignty of Indonesia including Papua and West Papua in it. In fact, the British Ambassador to Indonesia named Moazzam Malik on several occasions also expressed his full support for Indonesia’s sovereignty.
He added that the current government does not stop and continues to focus on developing and striving for the overall welfare of Papua. he considered if those who were campaigning for Papuan independence were only a few people. However, Jazuli hopes that the government will continue to be diligent in increasing its diplomatic role towards Papua, so that there will be no intervention by other countries regarding Indonesia’s sovereignty.
Thus there seems to be no doubt, right? If Papua as a whole is part of the Homeland, the price is dead! So there is no gap for anyone to disturb this final thing.
