The number of corona patients who have recovered is increasing. This proves the seriousness of the government in eradicating this dangerous disease. Even though the pandemic has not ended, there is hope in the future so that the corona can leave as soon as possible from Indonesia.
It doesn’t feel like more than 6 months we are in the Covid-19 pandemic period. Diseases that land in all countries of the world are eradicated in various ways. The government has taken many steps to reduce the mortality and transmission rates of an corona. Also increases the number of patients who have successfully recovered.
Doctor Reisa Broto Asmoro, who once served as a spokesperson for the covid task force team, explained that there was an increase in the percentage of recovered corona patients in Indonesia. To be precise, from only 74%, then it increased to more than 75%. This increase is very good, because it shows the seriousness of the government in tackling corona.
At the start of the pandemic, President Jokowi firmly rejected the proposal for a lockdown . Of course this is in line with the thoughts of the Minister of Health, Doctor Terawan. It was proven that a few months later, there was news that a country that had implemented a too tight lockdown would even collapse in the economic sector.
Instead of a lockdown, the government chose to prevent corona by disseminating health protocols . We certainly have memorized, namely, wear a mask, wash your hands diligently, and keep your distance. The government also closed schools and created distance learning programs. All of this is for the safety of students, especially those who are still in kindergarten and elementary school, because they are prone to contracting corona.
To prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus, a 3T program was held, namely testing, tracing, and treatment . Mass rapid tests are being encouraged again and the public is obliged to follow them, so they know the status is reactive or not. Especially now that there are still many people without symptoms. When going on a plane and train, we also need a rapid test to make it safer.
After testing is complete, tracking is carried out by tracing who has had contact with the patient. So they also have to be tested, and when the results are positive, they will immediately be treated in the hospital. The next stage is treatment , which costs the government borne, starting from room payments to medicines.
After the adaptation era of new habits, the handling of cor ona has also been further improved. Because currently there is no obligation to stay at home . Apart from raiding masks on the streets, the government has also limited the number of passengers in cars. The goal is that they keep a distance, even in the vehicle’s private i.
Passengers are also limited to trains and buses. The maximum can only contain 50% of people, so still obey physical distancing . When riding the train, passengers must wear a mask and be given a face shield for free. This limitation is important because in public vehicles using air conditioning. Even though the covid-19 virus can spread in stuffy air like an air-conditioned room.
For shopping centers that have reopened, visitors are required to wear masks as well as check their body temperature with a thermo gun that is shot into the forehead. Mall visitors are also limited in terms of age. Toddlers and elderly people should not enter the area, because they are the ones who are vulnerable to contracting the corona virus.
Regulations in society are enforced. The community is asked to work together to fight corona. The government is also not only silent, but waiting for the vaccine to arrive in Indonesia. Doctors and other health workers are prioritized for immunization. Meanwhile, the general public who refuse vaccines can be fined. Like it or not, anti-vaccines must be injected so that we all survive corona.
The government is trying hard to dispel Corona in various ways. Starting from testing, tracing, and treatment . Don’t get angry and take off your mask, because that is tantamount to betraying the government’s efforts. Let’s obey the rules and pray that the corona is quickly eliminated.
