The second period of Jokowi’s administration will focus on one of them, the development of human resources (HR). However, it is certain, Jokowi will continue to develop infrastructure in the regions. Continue what was done in the first period.
Indonesiasentris: A Form of Social Justice for All Indonesian People
This development is an implementation of the value of Pancasila in order to realize social justice for all Indonesian people.
In this New Era of National Development, the paradigm of increasing infrastructure is deemed necessary to be revolutionized. Jawasentris that is considered to cause gaps must be changed by implementing development more equitably. Therefore the concept of “Indonesiasentris” and then appointed to the leadership of Jokowi must be welcomed as a new round of national development.
Initially the concept was titled Jawasentris, but in its journey, infrastructure development was only focused on Java and Jakarta. So that the implementation around the island of Java is considered not very effective.
Based on this experience, President Jokowi finally took the initiative to change this concept to be broader and bigger, which is now popularly known as Indonesiasentris.
In this concept the government is targeting the development of up to 45,592 kilometers of national roads and the construction of 2,650 kilometers of new roads during 2014-2019. A number of parties mentioned that development with this concept will be able to balance the condition of infrastructure in various regions of Indonesia so that it has the same improvement.
In fact, this Indonesia centric also supports the development of new growth centers, especially in eastern Indonesia, including the country’s borders in the outer regions. The noble essence of Indonesia is to encourage the realization of people’s welfare in a fair and equitable manner. Which can accelerate development in various sectors, while maintaining the unity and integrity of the nation.
As the executor of development, three ministries have been chosen namely, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Public Works, and the Ministry of Villages, PDT and Transmigration or the Ministry of Health. To support this development, the government has poured a quite fantastic amount of funds. Which will be allocated according to the designated ministry.
Implementation of infrastructure improvements in other cities, one of which is the construction of the 39km-long Manado-Bitung toll road. Which is also part of the 1,000 kilometer toll road that will be developed throughout Indonesia over the next five years. In Presidential Regulation No. 3 in 2016 there were around 225 projects focused on the construction of toll roads, airports, ports, national roads, railroad networks, housing, dams, tourism infrastructure, energy to electricity.
The location of the construction is no longer dominated in the area of Java, but also extends to other areas, such as Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Maluku, and also Papua. For the Papua region itself, breakthroughs to support the course of development one by one have been realized. Many infrastructures that can be enjoyed by the people of Bumi Cendrawasih.
One of them was the inauguration of the Holtekamp bridge as a link between the Hamadi region and other cities. The real benefits of building this bridge in addition to summarizing the mileage, also raises the potential for new economic growth, such as in the Tourism sector. Which will have an impact on improving the economy of the surrounding residents. In addition, the distribution of various product needs will be easily accessed. Because, road supporters have also been built a lot.
Not only that, a number of achievements in the Land of Papua including the application of fuel prices with one price are also considered successful. Following the increase in the health sector and also education. So hopefully, Papua will be able to catch up with other regions.
Based on this concrete evidence reflects President Jokowi’s commitment and seriousness in the process of promoting the welfare of Indonesia fairly and equally. And do not rule out the possibility, these achievements will be more brilliant.
Therefore, support from all cabinet elements and related line ministries is needed, Jokowi instructed 7 Presidential Orders, including: (1) Do not be corrupt (2) There is no ministerial vision (3) fast work, hard work, proactive work (4) do not get caught up in monotonous routines (5) work orientation of tangible results (6) plunge the field and find a solution (7) be serious at work.
In the government of the Advanced Indonesian Cabinet in the next five years, there might be obstacles, this is the challenge of this nation to be optimistic, but many believe that the plan to accelerate development will soon be realized and comprehensive because Jokowi’s spirit of realizing Indonesia Forward must become the spirit of us all .
