People Reject KAMI Declaration

There are indications that the Action Coalition to Save Indonesia (KAMI) is still actively making a declaration even though it was during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The public also firmly rejected the declaration because it was prone to creating a Covid-19 cluster and triggering public unrest.
The Declaration of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (KAMI) in Jambi was dissolved by the police. The police said that it was the Covid-19 Task Force who dismissed the event.
Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Regional Police, Kombes Kuswahyudi Trensadi, said that the event did not have a permit, so it was disbanded. The event was stopped at around 16.00 WIB.
On different occasions, the Community Alliance for Anti-Radicalism, Terrorism and Communism (AMAR) in Tulungagung Regency stated that they supported the government and voiced their stance in the petition rejecting radicalism, terrorism and the caliphate.
Maliki as Chairman of AMAR stated that his party rejected the existence of KAMI and asked to stop the provocation that was dividing the nation.
This group is also a group that continues to create turmoil in society. The public is also urged to be aware of the KAMI movement because it only provokes the people in the midst of handling Covid-19.
It seems that the Action Coalition to Save Indonesia does not have a 100% vision of saving Indonesia, this movement tends to be like a political movement that seems to be looking for a stage for personal ambition.
Starting from riding demonstrations to unlicensed declarations. They still try to find opportunities in the narrowest way to leave a trail of fame.
Frequently carrying out declarations certainly makes some people fail to understand, because the name moral movement should only be done once, and use online applications to disseminate it. However, it seems that the Declaration has been carried out repeatedly, as if forming a party.
Currently what Indonesia needs is real action, not a declaration that lacks a work program. Moreover, a declaration that does not have a permit, it is only natural that this activity is dismissed by the security forces.
If it’s like this, then what will KAMI future be like? What scenario might the group fronted by Gatot Nurmantyo CS carry out?
One of the possible scenarios has been revealed by Denny JA, he said that the possibility of the events of 1998 could be repeated at this time. However, he stressed that it would not happen.
The first scenario, KAMI will bring Jokowi’s government down before the end of office in 2024. But there are still 2 variables that are not yet present as the context for this movement. Before two additional variables are present, KAMI are not strong enough to overthrow President Jokowi halfway.
Meanwhile, Denny JA said that KAMI might not overthrow Jokowi but instead gave birth to a presidential candidate for the next election. KAMI can be judged to be the King Maker for the 2024 Presidential Election.
However, this second scenario is also difficult to materialize because KAMI have shortcomings. Denny JA, said that KAMI could lead to internal division.
In addition, there is also a prediction from Denny JA, that KAMI will not be anything. KAMI are said to be just decorating the democracy of this country.
The next scenario, Denny JA mentioned that KAMI would be nothing. KAMI are said to be able to decorate the democracy of this country. This group will actually be a sweetener to the current government.
On a different occasion, PDIP politician Hendrawan Supratikno had made allegations about the continuation of KAMI. Will KAMI become a mass organization or political party?
According to Hendrawan, a movement that eventually became a mass organization or political party has often occurred. However, if KAMI become a mass organization or political party, Hendrawan assesses that our position will be difficult because many political party figures are also critical.
Previously, Golkar politician Sarmuji considered that the demands made by the Action Coalition to Save Indonesia (KAMI) to the government were inappropriate.
Golkar views that so far, the government has been working optimally, especially in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the health and economic sectors.
He explained that what the government had done had all met KAMI demands, even went beyond. The government has even integrated health management with economic recovery so that the two do not cancel each other out, even become complementary steps.
This group seems to put forward a pessimistic narrative by likening Indonesia to a shipwreck, they use this narrative to shoot the seat of power.
It has been counted how many rejections of KAMI have been made by the public, but KAMI are still acting for the sake of seeking fame by making endless declarations.
