CIDISS. Denpasar City Police Resort, Bali Police, conducted a raid of a number of entertainment venues, in order to create a safe atmosphere to support the implementation of the Annual Meeting of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank (IMF-WB) on the Island of the Gods, Bali.
The Denpasar Police Investigation Unit, Police Commissioner Aris Purwanto, when confirmed in Denpasar on Saturday, said that the activity of the conditions that had been carried out in a number of cafes in Denpasar City targeted drug trafficking and abuse, as well as acts of thuggery.
Aris said, in the activity of the conditions that had been carried out, it did not find any cafe visitors carrying drugs, carrying sharp weapons or suspecting the existence of terrorists.
The activity was created by the condition, Denpasar Police deployed 20 members from the Denpasar Police Narcotics Investigation Unit who had conducted sweeping raids on five cafes in their area.
He said, the first raid was carried out at CC, Sedap Malam street, East Denpasar, which immediately examined three visitors, two “waitres” and one cafe security guard (security guard), with no drugs found.
Subsequently, members of the Denpasar Police Narcotics Unit moved towards CJ Sedap Malam street, East Denpasar which immediately examined ten cafe visitors, five “waitres and one security officer, who also found no illegal drugs or sharp weapons.
The raid was also carried out at Cafe B, Jalan Sedap Malam, East Denpasar, which examined five cafe visitors, five waitres and security officers who were also not found forbidden items.
