Refuse Radicalism and the Caliphate, Sidoarjo Workers faithful Declaration of NKRI

The workers who are members of the Chemical Energy and Mining Trade Union of All Indonesian Workers’ Union (SP KEP SPSI) held a Declaration of Faithful NKRI in Sidoarjo.
In its declaration, the workers stated that they would remain loyal to the Republic of Indonesia and Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, rejecting intolerance and radicalism and the ideology of the Caliphate.
Chairman of the East Java Provincial Leadership SP KEP SPSI, Soekarji said, this country was formed by its founders through a long struggle, with blood and sweat. In deciding the basis and form of the state it has also been weighed very carefully.
For this reason and various other reasons, they also stated that they would remain loyal to the NKRI and reject all forms of intolerance and radicalism.
He connects, we are ready to maintain diversity. Ready to accept differences as a gift to this nation. And we also reject khilafah or other ideas that are not in accordance with Pancasila.
The declaration received appreciation from the National Police. According to the Head of the Baintelkam Polri Product Kombespol Marjuki, the determination and enthusiasm to be loyal to the NKRI and reject intolerance and radicalism were a form of extraordinary community resilience.
Marjuki said, we really appreciate it. With strong community resilience, this country will also be very strong. Primarily in the face of efforts to change the ideology of the nation. With strong community resilience, this country is also not easily divided.
The officer who once served as the Sidoarjo Regional Police Chief confirmed that NKRI was final. There must be no other ideology or anything that can change it.
He admitted, so far there were parties who tried to change the ideology of the nation. The effort was called massive and targeted various groups. Including workers, academics, campuses, students, santri, farmers, traders, and so on.
The resilience of the people is the strongest to stem and reject these efforts. Including rejecting new ideologies that have the potential to disrupt the integrity of the NKRI.
