Respect the 2019 Election Results Support the Inauguration of Jokowi-Ma “ruf

The inauguration of the elected President and Vice President is planned to be held on October 20, 2019. The people are enthusiastic in welcoming the inauguration because it is a way of honoring the results of the 2019 elections as a form of democratic maturity.
But ahead of the inauguration of Jokowi in his second period, rumors circulated that groups would want to frustrate the inauguration of Jokowi – Ma’ruf Amin. If this were to happen, surely this action would constitute an unconstitutional movement that had to be anticipated.
Previously, thousands of masses from various circles had packed the courtyard of the Sarinah building, Thamrin, Central Jakarta. They carried out a peaceful rally to support President Joko Widodo to remain inaugurated in October 2019. They gathered and carried out an action titled #KamiBersamaJokowi.
The action began at 15.00 WIB followed by the declaration and socialization of the hashtag #kamibersamajokowi. They distributed flowers, stickers, banners and posters of support to the people around the Sarinah shopping center.
One of the residents from Jakarta, Topo, who participated in the action claimed to be nervous about the current situation and condition of the country. According to him, President Jokowi who has been elected constitutionally has been disturbed a lot, but there are those who want to reduce it ahead of the inauguration.
Meanwhile, according to other participants Eli Yuliati said, his participation was a form of support for Jokowi in resolving a number of issues. Support does not only come from the community, even its political opponents, the Gerindra Party, also provides support. Gerindra Party Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) Andre Rosiade said his party would support the inauguration of Jokowi – Ma’ruf Amin which will be held on 20 October 2019.
He said, Jokowi was the elected president that had been determined by the KPU and God willing would be inaugurated on October 20, 2019, he also accepted and supported Jokowi’s appointment as President R. The statement was conveyed in connection with the emergence of Jokowi’s overthrow plan revealed by Senior Politician Gerindra Permadi.
According to Andre, this is a personal statement from Permadi and does not at all represent the Gerindra party’s vote. Moreover, Gerindra has clearly demonstrated its obedience to the constitution so that it will respect the implementation of Jokowi’s inauguration later.
Permadi is suspected of delivering an agenda to depose Jokowi before the inauguration as elected President in the period 2019-2024. The statement was made by Permadi after holding a meeting with the Former Commander General of the Special Forces (Danjen Koppasus) Major General (Retired) Sunarko to the Secretary General of FUI Muhammad Al Khaththath at the residence of the former personality in Pancoran, South Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Wiranto, said that those who want to frustrate the election winners are against the constitution. Therefore, no one is allowed to make these efforts. According to Wiranto, the state, the government and its security forces will take maximum security measures for the inauguration. He said the government did not want to risk the existence of a country threatened by anarchist and unconstitutional movements.
The inauguration of the President is the culmination of the election results that are directly elected by the people and have strong legitimacy. Therefore, no party may try to thwart the inauguration of elected DPR members and the President and Vice President. That is, if there are parties who want to thwart the procession of the inauguration of the President, it is the same as opposing the state constitution, because after all the constitutional decision cannot be contested.
Wiranto also invited the community, especially students, students, farm workers, paramedics and religious communities to always jointly reject the abolition efforts. They are also urged not to be influenced by invitations or provocations to oppose the constitution. Resistance to the unconstitutional movement was demonstrated by Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto as the Commander of the TNI, where he said that those who wanted to frustrate the inauguration of the president and vice president-elect would face the TNI. This includes those who carry out anarchist and unconstitutional actions.
Therefore, we also have a role in escorting the President to be inaugurated on October 20, because the Election has passed, all the hustle and bustle of politics has also passed, and now is the time we take care so that during the inauguration, there are no undesirable things.
