WE, initiated by Din Syamsudin et al, promised to save Indonesia. But unfortunately only the winds of heaven, because his tricks were already visible. They want to bring this country back to the terrible New Order era, because they want the presidential election to be conducted by MPR members, not by the people.
The public still remembers the heartbreaking New Order era because freedom of speech was silenced. People are also not free to do business because they have to pass through many doors and provide bribes. When the reform era opened, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Now when everything is good, WE even invite to be nostalgic through the rules of the New Order era.
One proof that WE want to invite the Indonesian people to return to the New Order era is the proposal to abolish Law number 23 of 2003. This law allows the people to elect their own President directly, through elections. So later, if the proposal is accepted, the president will be elected by MPR members, not by the people anymore.
This proposal is terrible because democracy has been damaged. What is the future of Indonesia if the president is not directly elected by the people? There are only 711 members of the MPR, they cannot really represent the votes of citizens who number hundreds of millions of people. OUR members should think before speaking, so as not to be bullied .
Do not let us return to the New Order era because there will be a lot of sadness cries because of the deteriorating political situation in Indonesia. Doesn’t everyone want to go forward, not back off? Instead of making profitable proposals in the future, WE can only sell memories of the New Order era which may be sweet for a few people but bitter for many .
Politician Ahmad Basarah criticized the statement by US members who wanted Indonesia to return to the New Order era. Because at that time the leadership was very authoritarian, even a President led for 32 years. This is very inconsistent with the spirit of the millennial era, because reform is the antithesis of criticism of the power of the New Order government.
If anyone quotes Piye Kabare’s joke , is it good for me? (How are you, is it better for me?) issued from the New Order figures, it is necessary to remember that at that time happiness was only on the surface. There are subsidies for basic food, electricity, etc. but the state’s debt is very large, so it becomes a time bomb that almost makes Indonesia almost bankrupt.
Don’t be nostalgic with the New Order era and think that OUR proposal is true. Because the press is always silenced, by blocking newspapers or magazines that are considered too ‘harsh’ to report on an official. The bromocorah criminals were immediately mended by Peter, and many other horrors.
How can people think critically and argue freely, if overshadowed by such fear? In the reformation era, it is easy and free, no need to throw it back into the past. Instead of just remembering the old ones, it is better for our members to think about how to save Indonesia through work and work.
Never mind, don’t give US a stage again. Because they are not aware that additional declarations in the regions are always flatly rejected by the community and there are demonstrations to prohibit their arrival. Even obtaining a declaration permit is also difficult, because the authorities have not given it. Apart from being feared of inviting the masses, it is also still a pandemic.
The public is also advised not to support US because they can only provide dreams and winds of wind , without any definite realization. Their suggestion about the return of Indonesia to the New Order era made many people stunned and terrified, because of the lack of freedom. Think with your mind and heart, don’t want to be persuaded by US.
