Support Law Enforcement Against Terror Groups

The community supports law enforcement against terror groups. These groups need to be eradicated in order to prevent acts of terror that can cause wider casualties.
Indonesia is a democratic country and since 1945 until now it is still valid in society. But oddly enough, radical groups did not approve of it because it had its own concept, namely the caliphate state. In fact, they had no right at all to protest, because they had never fought against the Dutch colonial era during pre-independence and were not part of the formulation of the state’s foundations.
Radicalism becomes a frightening specter because it is too extreme in doing something. If they want to form a caliphate state but have not been able to materialize it, then members of radical groups make a thousand and one ways to attract attention and psychologically suppress them. Among them by attacking the office of the apparatus, destroying public facilities, to the most extreme is bombing in crowded places.
Therefore, radicalism must be eradicated because it destroys peace in Indonesia. Peace can be broken because radical groups love sweeping, even though they have no right because they are not the ones in charge. Even more extreme, radical groups are also the masterminds of riots and bombings, thus disturbing the public.
How can they want to be leaders in the caliphate when all they have in mind are bombing plans and other crimes? While good leaders should act fairly and focus on development and future plans, they instead do damage.
The breakdown of peace in Indonesia can be dangerous because the social order can also be damaged. Radical groups deliberately create hoaxes and fake pictures so that people are provoked, then they hate the government too. In fact, this can be fatal because it thwarts government programs, making it even more chaotic.
Therefore, we must fight radicalism so that it does not spread further in Indonesia. H. Zamhuri, Acting Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Karimun Regency, stated that there are several ways to fight radicalism. The first is to form an anti-radicalism cyber team. This team operates in cyberspace so that content of radicalism is combed out and taken down so that it does not affect the community.
While the second way is to empower educational institutions to add a curriculum on anti-radicalism. Teaching is very necessary so that students who are still innocent know about the dangers of radicalism and terrorism from an early age. So that they are not dragged and persuaded to become cadres of radical groups.
The community also supports law enforcement efforts against radical and terrorist groups. Law number 5 of 2018 specifically discusses terrorism. Different types of punishment await members of radical and terrorist groups. Moreover, if they are the masterminds of extreme acts such as bombings, the punishment can be life in prison.
There needs to be socialization about law enforcement to radical and terrorist groups. The goal is to get them to give up and surrender, because the anti-terrorism officers and Densus 88 do not play games in arresting every member of radical and terrorist groups. Even those who are caught hiding terrorist members are also punished, because it is the same as protecting crime.
Radicalism and terrorism must be eradicated in Indonesia because they can damage the order in this country and destroy peace. The public is also very antipathetic to radical groups because they can only boast about the beauty of the caliphate state, even though the concept is not in accordance with the situation in Indonesia, which has a pluralistic society. Radical convicts and terrorists get the punishment they deserve to realize their mistakes.
