The 2020 Pilkada is the Momentum for the Improvement of the Nation’s Economy during the Covid-19 Pandemic

It is hoped that the 2020 Pilkada will improve the economic slowdown due to the impact of Covid 19. Economic complaints due to Covid 19 are felt by all countries in any part of the world. However, it has benefited somewhat from the 2020 Pilkada which will certainly have a positive impact on the nation’s economy as a whole. So that the negative impact of Covid 19 on the economic sector will soon be resolved.
The 2020 Pilkada democracy event will revive the cross-sectoral economy. There will be a circulation of money that is so large that it will increase people’s oprimism towards the ideals of national development. The 2020 Pilkada will bury all the nightmares of the economic recession that have hit various countries in various parts of the world. The huge cash flow in the 2020 Pilkada is a stimulus that increases optimism that the Indonesian economy is very strong and able to face various global threats.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto said that the implementation of the 2020 Pilkada is expected to be a factor driving economic growth in the next fourth quarter. The circulation of money in the community is predicted to reach IDR 35 trillion in the 2020 Pilkada, in the form of running costs to campaign funds for potential contestants. The fund could power the economy after contracting 5.32 percent in the second quarter of 2020.
This fantastic amount of money will increase people’s consumption. The production and distribution sectors also felt the positive effects. So that it also contributes to increasing the absorption of labor, especially in sectors related to the production and distribution of Pilkada logistics and Campaign Props (APK).
It is hoped that the New Adaptation Condition (AKB) will also increase the creativity of the contestants competing in the 2020 Pilkada. Sanitation-based APKs such as masks and hand sanitizers will fill public spaces. The Pilkada directly also contributed to suppressing the spread of Covid 19. So that it is not an exaggeration to interpret the 2020 Pikada as having a devastating impact on the Indonesian nation, improving the economy and also helping to suppress the spread of the Covid 19 outbreak.
The magnitude of these benefits can be felt directly by all levels of Indonesian society. Whether in the region the Pilkada is held or not. Because it cannot be denied that cross-regional is a trend of Indonesian consumption. Given the importance of this, all levels of society must support the succession of the 2020 Pilkada and increase optimism for the nation’s economic progress so that Indonesia can be immediately free from the threat of the Covid 19 outbreak.
