The number of unemployed is the biggest problem in Indonesia. To overcome this, the government made the omnibus law on the Job Creation Bill which would change the employment climate for the better. Because there are many new job vacancies created by the government.
The Omnbus law The Job Creation Law is the most viral topic of 2020. Because in this Law , there are many changes in labor, investment, business, and other laws . Which is divided into dozens of clusters. The government guarantees that the omnibus law can improve Indonesia’s financial condition, which was battered by corona .
One of the most horrendous clusters in the omnibus law is employment. Many do not want the Manpower Law to be overhauled. In fact, this Law benefits both workers and prospective workers. Because article 3 of the Job Creation Law states ‘the purpose of the creation of the Job Creation Law is to open the widest possible job opportunities.’
Opening of employment is very crucial because during the pandemic, many people lost their jobs, because their companies lost money. Moreover, what will be opened is a labor-intensive industry. So that it can absorb thousands of workers. People’s financial capacity will increase.
The Job Creation Law can create many jobs, because it makes it easier for foreign investment to enter Indonesia. If there is a lot of foreign investment, there will be new projects and of course it will need a lot of construction workers. If this company is already established, it will also need many employees. Thus reducing the unemployment rate in Indonesia.
After the Employment Creation Law was enacted this October, investors from Korea and other countries immediately prepared to enter Indonesia. Starting from car companies , smartphones , to shoes, we will invest in our country. In fact, they promised to provide up to 8,000 job vacancies at these factories.
This proves that the Job Creation Law is a panacea for overcoming the large number of unemployed in Indonesia. So don’t anyone else protest it, either through demonstrations or status on social media. Remember that demonstrations during a pandemic are strictly prohibited, and hate speech status could be subject to the ITE Law and put him in jail.
Gatot Nurmanty o, who had strongly rejected the omnibus law of the Job Creation Law, is now turning his back on him. According to this retiree, the Job Creation Law is very good because it can create jobs in Indonesia. So the people’s welfare can increase.
If anyone asks, why should it prioritize foreign investment, then the answer is no. Because in the Job Creation Law there is also support for local investors. So that more and more companies are established, both on a small and large scale, and reduce the number of disturbances in Indonesia.
The Job Creation Law also simplifies licensing from MSMEs. So they can take care of legality more quickly, and at no additional cost. UMKM entrepreneurs who have a stagnant cognition can also get official permission and have the enthusiasm to develop their money. When the business grows, it will need new employees and reduce unemployment.
If the Job Creation Law is implemented in Indonesia, it will also reduce the crime rate. When someone is unemployed and he has dark eyes, is crazy, and has to pickpocket, he can be beaten by the masses. Crimes like this don’t happen when everyone has a job. Because they have a source of livelihood that can support their life and family.
The Job Creation Law can help unemployed people to find work again. There are many companies from foreign investment that are established in Indonesia. Unemployed people can take advantage of this opportunity, and they find very well-paying jobs.
