The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) is a separatist group that always acts brutally against civilians. This time, the KKB acted again by killing a civilian in Intan Jaya Papua, so that the community fully supported the TNI / Polri to eradicate the group.
The shooting incident in Papua occurred again. The Papuan Armed Criminal Group has sent a letter to the Indonesian National Police through a priest named Yustinus Rahangyar.
In the letter the Papuan KKB in Intan Jaya claimed to have shot a resident named Boni Bagau at the border of Sugapa District and Homeyo District.
Pastor Yustinus Rahangiyar and the victim’s family reported the incident to the Sugapa Police. The victim’s family on behalf of Wilem Bagau hopes that Boni’s body will be buried in Kampung Agapa Intan Jaya.
The Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police, Kombes Pol AM Kamal, said that the meeting between the victim’s family, religious leaders and the Indonesian National Police was held in the Pastoral Room of Bilogai Village, Sugapa District.
Kamal explained, at the meeting, Pastor Yustinus Rahangiyar brought a letter from the Papuan KKB led by Undius Kogoya addressed to the Indonesian National Police in Intan Jaya Regency, that there had been a shooting of the Bagau clan.
From the results of the meeting, the victim’s parents on behalf of Gad Bagau requested that the victim be buried in Agapa Village, given the situation and conditions that would not have been possible if he was taken or brought to Sugapa District and Homeyo District.
Kama explained that the information received was that the KKB shot civilians because they suspected the victim of being a spy for the security apparatus of the TNI Polri. We are still investigating the shooting report.
Previously, the Papua Police Chief, Inspector General Paulus Waterpauw, said the KKB was a group of people who often gathered together and carried out security disturbances.
Waterpauw emphasized that he always categorized KKB as free man. Her life was just violent, terrifying everyone, threatening everyone with guns.
In mid-2020, at least two medical officers from the Covid-19 task force team were shot by KKB in Intan Jaya Regency, Papua. One victim died in the incident.
These medical personnel are part of the Covid-19 task force team and carry out a noble mandate.
Previously, the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) had messed up by burning a commercial aircraft belonging to PT MAF in Intan Jaya, Papua.
This brutal action began with the shooting of several civilian planes including a few days ago the shooting of a PT Freeport Indonesia helicopter and currently burning the MAF aircraft.
Previously, KKB had also shot civilians in Sinak, Puncak Regency, Papua. Head of Information at the Joint Defense Areas Command (Kogabwilhan) III Colonel CZI IGN Suriastawa admitted that there was a shooting incident that was carried out by KKB with 2 civilians, where one of them died.
The two victims, Amanus Murib, were in critical condition, while Atanius Murib died.
The criminal action allegedly was motivated by intimidation from the KKB to the community, because the action had so far not received support from local residents as well as various attempts to distort the facts by accusing the security apparatus of being the perpetrators.
The distortion of the facts and playing the victim through the mass media has always been a trick of pro-KKB groups and their supporters at home and abroad to corner the Indonesian government.
Apart from attacking civilians, KKB also did not hesitate to attack security forces. On January 22, two TNI soldiers from Yonif R 400 / BR died after receiving gunfire from an armed criminal group (KKB) in Papua.
The two victims who died were named Pratu Roy Vebrianto and Pratu Dedi Hamdani.
According to information, Pratu Roy was shot from a distance of 200 meters, while Pratu Dedi was shot while pursuing the KKB who shot Pratu Roy.
The two soldiers were also shot blindly from a height in the forest located between the Sugapa Lama Village and the Hitadipa Village.
The two of them were about to be rushed to the hospital in Timika to get help. But unlucky, both of them died on the way to Timika Papua.
Separatist groups such as the KKB must of course receive serious attention from the government, so that anyone who opposes and destroys the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, must be cut down to its roots. Do not let groups like the KKB continue to roam and spread terror in Papua.
