Various narratives passing by almost every day cover social media timelines about Covid-19 and the Job Creation Law. However, most of them are fake news with no clear origin, let alone the truth. For example, the news that says that the Job Creation Law was created by the state to oppress workers and benefit employers. Finally, many parties were provoked to the point of a demonstration.
This certainly makes people uneasy. In the midst of this precarious situation, netizens must be wise in choosing actual and factual news. Because to optimize the existing new order, society only needs positive thinking so that it can change good behavior during the adaptation of new habits.
The spread of hoaxes rarely occurs naturally, but is deliberately engineered in such a way as to measure political targets. Hoax operations must be countered intelligently and wisely through literacy and implementation. Citizens must fight negative hoax content with constructive positive content.
One of them, check the original source so that the news consumed is valid and true. Do not let hoax news become ingrained in the community, which will later be misleading.
As we know, the state and society are struggling to eradicate the pandemic and provocative content. One of them is by eradicating fake news / lies, which are made by irresponsible persons. As we know, various government policies are the most appropriate and smart solution in dealing with a pandemic. Therefore, we must be careful in every action we take.
Therefore, the role of citizens and millennials in the success of various government policies through literacy and education steps on social media is very appropriate and solution, together we build optimism with positive narratives through social media towards government policies for the progress of the nation and state.
