Pangkalan Bun – Kotawaringin Barat regency, Central Kalimantan province is hard to create young agriculture entrepreneur. It is caused by assumption that agriculture identical with dirty, not prestigious and economic.
Besides that assumption, another factors that there is no guidance and giving a knowledge about agriculture to youth.
It is said by leader of Kontak Tani Nelayan Andalan, Syahrian, states that there is also no example of successful entrepreneur on agriculture field, especially rice.
He explains, even there is guidance to farmer group, but it is not aim for youth. Then, it needs any help from many parties to changes the negative assumption.
He added on another case in the decrease of interest on agriculture sector, in the field there is no certain market to sell their agriculture product.
By the cases, there must be a solution from government to give any guidance for youth to take a part as agriculture entrepreneur.
Besides that, by making farmer youth group, there are 30 people has made communication forum for farmer youth, but there is no significant progress. They have confused to legalize the forum.
