Absalom Kreway Yarisetouw Appreciates Security Forces in Maintaining Conduciveness in Papua
Papua- The Papuan people strongly condemn all brutal acts carried out by the Papuan Terrorist Separatist Group (KSTP). Apart from that, the public also really appreciates the actions of the security forces in dealing with KST in Papua.
This was conveyed by the Deputy Chair of the Setya Kita Pancasila Regional Management Council (DPW) for Papua Province, Absalom Kreway Yarisetouw when interviewed by Matoa TV in Papua, Monday 16/10/2023.
“I appreciate the law enforcement officers in the Land of Papua who have helped a lot to maintain security and sovereignty in the Land of Papua, in particular they have helped the Papuan people a lot in social work in the community.” said Absalom.
Absalom Kreway believes that KST Papua is the source of chaos in the land of Papua. The reason is that KST Papua is not only involved in attacks on security forces and civil society. But also the kidnapping and killing of anyone who was deemed to hinder him from carrying out attacks.
Absalom Kreway really appreciates the steps taken by the joint TNI and Polri team to continue making various efforts. One of these efforts is to narrow their movement in vulnerable areas of Papua.
“I emphasize that the actions taken by law enforcement officers against the Terrorist Separatist Group in Papua are very appropriate and must be carried out in more detail to secure a peaceful, safe and secure Land of Papua. “So that people will not feel anxious about the separatist groups in Papua.” said Absalom.
Currently, the Papuan people have become fully independent after joining Indonesia, and Papua has received special autonomy so that the welfare of the Papuan people has increased.
Apart from that, Absalom also invited all Papuan people to help each other with security forces so that peace and conduciveness in Papua continues to be maintained. And the community is expected to continue to support the Government’s efforts to advance the land of Papua.
“I also invite young people, traditional leaders and our religious leaders to work together with the TNI/Polri to eradicate Armed Criminal Groups in the Land of Papua.” he said.
Several incidents of violence that occurred between the Papuan Separatist Terrorist Group (KSTP) and security forces and civil society prompted the government to make special efforts to handle them. For this reason, in dealing with KST Papua, the government is preparing strategic steps in the hope that the KST Papua issue can be handled well.
It is hoped that the Papuan people will not be provoked by what KST Papua has done so far. They are liars, because their struggle to date has had no results and is only for the interests of their group, not for the Papuan people.
