Appreciation by Security Forces for Returning Conduciveness After the KST Papua Headquarters Raid

Very high appreciation should be given to the security forces from the joint personnel for being able to return conditions and conditions back to conducive conditions in the Land of Papua, especially after they carried out direct raids on the nests of the Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) which so far have continued to cause uproar in the community.
Security personnel (Apkam) consisting of the joint forces of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) have recently successfully carried out raids on the KST Papua headquarters.
The raid took place in Ambaidiru Village, Kosiwo District, Yapen Islands Regency. As a result of the raids carried out by the joint security forces, officers managed to confiscate dozens of pieces of evidence.
Regarding the success of the raid which was carried out on the nest of the separatist gang on Cenderawasih Earth, the Head of Operations (Kaops) Damai Cartenz Kombes Pol. Faizal Ramadhani said that the raid on the KST Papua headquarters was carried out on Friday, June 16 2023.
Of course, there is no reason why the raid on the nest of the terrorist gang was carried out. This is because all members of the security forces really want to ensure that there will be strict prosecution and law enforcement against the group led by Sefnat Marani.
Some time ago, before the raid, the group led by Sefnat Marani had committed a number of criminal acts by setting fire to heavy equipment or excavators. They also carried out acts of treason against the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), namely by raising the Morning Star flag on May 29, in Woda Village, Rainbari District, Yapen Islands Regency.
As proof of the success of the raid as well as efforts to take firm action against and punish the separatist gang who continue to trouble the people of Bumi Cenderawasih, the security forces have confiscated a number of pieces of evidence, including the presence of an improvised firearm (senpi) made of wood and resembling a gun. It is strongly suspected that this firearm was also the weapon they carried out in carrying out their various acts of terror.
Some of the other evidence that was successfully secured was a match gun, then a camouflage-colored vest and the Morning Star flag measuring 25 cm x 15 cm which they strongly suspect had flown some time ago.
All of the evidence that was successfully secured has now been handed over to the Yapen Islands Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim Polres) investigator team, for further investigation and examination in the development of the case.
After the direct raid on the KST Papua nest, then, now the situation and conditions in the Yapen Islands Regency have been monitored to be safe and conducive, which also indicates that all efforts to take action taken by the security forces have produced maximum results.
Even though it is observed that the situation and conditions on the ground have become safe and conducive, the security forces are increasingly ensuring security and providing maximum protection to all people in Indonesia’s easternmost province.
This is because all security personnel from the joint forces are continuing to increase their patrols to be able to prevent other disturbances by KST Papua, which greatly impact and disrupt the daily activities of the people in the Regency.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Papua Regional Police (Kapolda), Inspector General of Police, Mathius D Fahiri also helped ensure the security and order of the people in Papua Province, which he emphasized that all of them were now in a very conducive condition.
According to him, currently the situation of security and public order (kamtibmas) in the jurisdiction of the Papua Police is relatively conducive, including in several Polres in mountainous areas, where security disturbances have frequently occurred. Even though conditions have been conducive thanks to all the hard work of the security forces, all members are asked to maintain vigilance and stay alert.
The vigilance and vigilance that the security forces continue to carry out is indeed a very important strategy to continue to intensify, so that the security forces themselves are not easily provoked by movements deliberately carried out by KST Papua and its sympathizers.
After the raids carried out by the joint security forces in Ambaidiru, Yapen Islands, the situation in the Land of Papua is slowly returning to normal and the people are starting to feel the impact of the security forces’ hard work. This certainly deserves high appreciation, bearing in mind that they never tire of protecting and nurturing the community.
