Many parties have strongly criticized KST Papua’s brutal actions by carrying out massacres of civilian gold panners, causing long-lasting fear and trauma among the people of Cenderawasih Earth.
Papuan traditional figure, Herman Albert Yoku, strongly condemned the recent actions of the Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) in a number of areas in Bumi Cenderawasih. According to him, all the actions carried out by the separatist gang were actions that fell into the category of serious human rights violations.
It cannot be denied that KST Papua has committed various kinds of serious human rights violations by killing completely innocent civilians. In fact, the argument they have for various acts of human rights violations is as if they are continuing to fight for independence for Papua.
However, the Papuan Traditional Leader himself stated very emphatically that not all Papuans want independence as stated by the Separatist and Terrorist Groups. However, it is actually only a small number of people, and this is also accompanied by personal interests and they continue to use several Ppua Merdeka symbols as a tool to fight the government so that it seems as if the Papuan people want independence, even though that is not the case at all.
On the other hand, instead of demanding ‘independence’ as continues to be advocated by KST Papua, the people of Bumi Cenderawasih themselves continue to want to live very peacefully together in the bosom of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), so that there are absolutely no people in the province. The easternmost part of the country wants violence as perpetrated by these treason groups.
Herman Albert Yoku then hopes that the Papuan KST can immediately stop all their acts of violence which have been continuing to be intensified, because the struggle they have been advocating so far has been completely useless because it has been characterized by various acts of serious human rights violations by killing fellow civilians. indigenous Papuans (OAP) themselves. Therefore, as a traditional leader, he asked all parties and elements of society in Bumi Cenderawasih to continue to maintain conduciveness in the Land of Papua, in order to be able to make Papua more peaceful and prosperous in the future.

The very brutal actions carried out by the Papuan terrorist gang have also caused great fear and even trauma for all people in the Land of Papua. The reason is, when disturbances and acts of violence continue to be carried out by separatist and terrorist groups, it is very clear that the efforts that have been intensified by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) to overcome gaps and also improve the welfare of the Papuan people will be greatly disrupted and cannot be achieved. running as it should.
So, when KST Papua continues to carry out their actions, of course the welfare of the Papuan people themselves will be threatened so that they will be further from their goal of making the Land of Papua more advanced and superior than before. The claims of the separatist group that they want ‘independence’ for the good of the people are all pure claims and nonsense.
Currently, security forces from the joint team of TNI and Indonesian National Police (Polri) have succeeded in evacuating 27 miners who managed to escape. Then, from the KST Papua attack, 7 people died and 20 others managed to survive. There were also several who suffered minor injuries, with details of 18 people in the first stage of evacuation and then 9 people were successfully evacuated.
What is sad is that the victims of the massacre were all ordinary civilians who were completely innocent and were not from intelligence parties as accused by KST Papua.
The fear and trauma of all people in Papua still continues to surround them because of the many actions that KST continues to intensify. In fact, recently they have carried out a very barbaric action again, namely by carrying out massacres of civilians panning for gold. Of course, a lot of extraordinary criticism deserves to be attached to this barbaric action.
