After taking firm action against the Papuan Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) in the mountains some time ago, now all levels of security forces consisting of joint personnel continue to strive to increase patrols in Bumi Cenderawasih.
The Papua Bintang Mountains Resort Police (Polres) continues to try to increase patrols, especially after the funeral of the five Papuan KST members who died as a result of a shootout with security forces from joint personnel of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) as a form of action. they stressed.
The security forces continue to intensify patrol efforts so that the separatist gangs in Bumi Cenderawasih can no longer spread their terror again to residents in the Bintang Mountains Regency. Therefore, in order to continue to maintain the security of all citizens against possible terror carried out by KST Papua, security forces continue to increase patrols in Oksibil City and its surroundings.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Task Force (Kasatgas) Damai Cartenz, Adjunct Police Commissioner (AKBP) Bayu Suseno, revealed that the ranks of the security apparatus from joint TNI and Polri personnel together with the local Regional Government (Pemda) were increasing their cooperation. to continue to maintain the security of all residents in Papua, especially in Oksibil City.
Apart from that, security forces from the joint forces will also continue to work hard to carry out various preventive measures to be able to anticipate and prevent possible attacks or disturbances and any threats that could come and endanger the safety of the people of Bumi Cenderawasih, especially from KST Papua.
Previously, the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI), Bambang Soesatyo, also asked all levels of security forces from the joint TNI and Polri forces on duty to be much more firm and serious in handling them until they were able to completely crush KST Papua.
With this much increased assertiveness by the joint personnel security apparatus, it will further speed up the process of restoring a conducive, safe and comfortable situation in the easternmost province in the country. Therefore, all strategies are very important to continue to pay attention to.
In order to organize strategies for taking firm action against KST Papua, to be able to better anticipate potential follow-up attacks that could occur and be carried out by KST, patrols and security were increased at various attack-prone points and also in several residential areas.
Indeed, all the very heinous and barbaric acts and acts of violence carried out by KST Papua so far deserve to be condemned very strongly. Because the various kinds of attacks and acts of violence that they carry out often result in many casualties, including civilians who are completely innocent and also casualties among the security forces.
Therefore, the Government together with all levels of security forces from joint personnel from the TNI, Polri to the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) are expected to be able to carry out identification quickly and precisely, as well as being able to map various patterns of attacks carried out by KST Papua.
Because with proper identification and efforts to map their attack patterns, the aim is to be able to determine what the appropriate strategy is to protect all residents in Tanah Papua as well as the security forces themselves who are on duty in the Bumi Cenderawasih area.
A very strong commitment from the ranks of the TNI, Polri and BIN is very important in order to be able to determine a firm stance and not hesitate to be able to take tough and measurable action when fighting KST Papua. Moreover, because the various actions they are carrying out are clearly very threatening and endanger the safety of residents and local security forces.
Likewise, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian People’s Representative Council (DPR RI) Ahmad Sahroni also assessed that the series of actions carried out by KST Papua could no longer be tolerated at all. Therefore, according to him, the security forces from joint personnel must take very firm action as soon as possible.
One of the efforts to increase firm action from the ranks of the security forces, joint personnel from the TNI, Polri and BIN, is to continue to increase patrols in Papua. This aims to ensure that there are no more attacks from KST Papua and to speed up the return to a conducive situation in Bumi Cenderawasih, especially after the security forces took firm action against separatist gangs in the Papua Mountains some time ago.
