SAFETY Program to develop the potential of young people in Aceh through sports tournaments

ACEH—Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul and Hebat (AMANAH) continues to dig up the sports potential of the students of Aceh through the implementation of Futsal and Basketball tournaments. The 2024 Safety Cup, consisting of the two tournaments, was followed by dozens of high school teams and equals from various regions in the province of Aceh.

The season of this tournament was very solemn, it can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants dating from their respective regions to succeed in the SAFETY Cup 2024.

The Deputy Chairman of the All Indonesia Basketball Association (Perbasi) of the province of Aceh, Nawalul Faizin said that the Government’s strategic program initiated by the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) has greatly benefited young people.

“If I think that the activities done by the SAFETY are very beneficial for the high school children, this is embracing the young people in Aceh,” said Nawalul Faizin.

The response from the participants is a real proof that the SAFETY sports program is coming with many benefits.

“So, the positive value of them is to stay away from unprofitable activities, and the value we can draw from these activities is that they can learn how young people develop themselves especially in sports,” he added.

Nawalul Faizin is also optimistic that the SAFETY sports event will make the sports potential of the region better and more developed. He also gives his appreciation to the Safe program because it has provided positive activities for the younger generation.

“I feel that for the potential of sports in particular basketball in Aceh ahead will be better and the quality of the player is good,” said Nawalul.

“Thank you for the safety too. It’s great. With this event, young people have positive activity and can avoid online gambling and drugs,” she concluded.
