Malikussaleh University Academics Say the AMANAH Program Creates New Opportunities for Aceh’s Young Generation
Banda Aceh – The Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great Program or AMANAH, is here as a solution to create a superior and broad-minded Acehnese generation.
Academic from Malikussaleh University, Al Chaidar said that the AMANAH program was good for creating a superior and great Acehnese generation.
“This is because a lot of input or learning is provided in the form of access to information for the digital economy,” said Al Chaidar during a live interview with a private radio station in Jakarta (15/7).
According to him, previously many Acehnese youth failed to find work, start a business and even build a start-up.
“However, the presence of AMANAH has given Acehnese youth the opportunity to become entrepreneurs and some have succeeded in becoming exporters of souvenirs abroad,” he said.
Al Chaidar also said that the AMANAH program is currently quite popular among Acehnese youth and gives them hope for many opportunities for monetization or other economic purposes.
“The AMANAH program is very popular among Acehnese youth. They see many opportunities for monetization and economic development,” said one of the program managers.
During the interview, he also revealed that in the future, the fields of information, digital and agriculture will be very important. Currently, these fields are still minimally developed in Aceh. AMANAH is here to fill this gap.
“This program is clear evidence of the state’s presence in supporting the development of Acehnese youth,” he added.
Previously, the South Aceh Government stated that it was ready to make the Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great (AMANAH) program a success.
Acting (Pj) South Aceh Regent Cut Syazalisma S.STP said, AMANAH is President Joko Widodo’s program to encourage the empowerment of the people of Aceh by involving the younger generation in developing the modern agricultural sector.
“The South Aceh District Government supports and opens up so that the AMANAH program implemented in South Aceh can run well and be successful,” said Cut Syazalisma.
