BIN Builds Synergy to Realize Successful Achievements and Success in Organizing the 10th WWF Bali
BIN, led by retired Police General Budi Gunawan, is committed to realizing the success of holding the 10th WWF in Bali, both in terms of successful achievements and successful implementation. For this reason, he ordered all his staff to work together optimally to achieve this success.
As was done by the Bali Regional BIN (Binda) together with PT. PLN (Persero), which
has collaborated, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to guarantee the reliability of electricity supply to ensure the smooth implementation of the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) on 18-25 May 2024 in Bali. This step is part of a wider effort involving various institutions and related parties to ensure that this international event is successful and safe.
Synergy between institutions received support from Professor of the Faculty of Law, National Education University (Undiknas) Denpasar, I Nyoman Budiana, who appreciated the synergy between state institutions in bringing security stability to Bali ahead of and during the implementation of the 10th WWF. He also emphasized the importance of involving local security forces such as pecalang to support the event to run safely and smoothly.
Apart from BIN, the success of organizing WWF is also the commitment of the TNI and Polri as well as other related institutions such as the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT).
BNPT Principal Secretary, Bangbang Surono, stated that his party was active in efforts to prevent acts of terror that could disrupt the international agenda. Bangbang explained that BNPT together with other intelligence elements would evaluate the environmental security system and vital national objects.
Previously, the National Police Chief, General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized his commitment to ensuring the security of the event by deploying 5,791 personnel who will be under Operation Puri Agung 2024. “We will try to be safe, there will be no attacks or zero attacks and of course we will take security measures more quickly with preventive strike efforts ,” he said.
At the same time, the Chief of the TNI General Staff, Lieutenant General TNI Bambang Ismawan, also emphasized the importance of coordination between task forces in security meetings for state guests and VVIP level guests. “The emphasis I want to convey is the importance of tight and consistent coordination between task forces,” said Bambang.
Meanwhile, Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra stated that the National Police involved regional units in coordination with the TNI, BINDA and other relevant stakeholders in a centralized police operation codenamed Operation Tri Brata Agung-2024.
