Jakarta – In commemoration of Youth Pledge Day, various achievements of the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka were highlighted as concrete manifestations of the spirit of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and empowerment of the younger generation.

BKP’s Main Expert, Hariqo Wibawa Satria, emphasized that Prabowo-Gibran’s first year of leadership has been marked by various major breakthroughs that directly impact the people.

One of the flagship programs is free health checks for all Indonesian people, which has now benefited more than 45 million beneficiaries.

“This program is the largest in Indonesian history, and the number of beneficiaries continues to grow every day,” Hariqo said in a discussion on a national TV station, Tuesday (28/10/2025).

In addition, Hariqo said the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has now reached 37 million beneficiaries, created 12 thousand SPPG kitchens and millions of new jobs.

“This isn’t just a free meal program, but also a people’s economic movement involving MSMEs, parents, and local workers,” he said.

The government has also allocated IDR 22 trillion for school revitalization, resulting in tens of thousands of school renovations and the creation of 400,000 new jobs. Furthermore, interactive flat panels are now being distributed to hundreds of thousands of schools, and every student receives a laptop and free extracurricular activities.

“The President honors the people in deciles 1 and 2. Indonesian children must be healthy, live long, and achieve,” Hariqo said.

In the health sector, the government is also strengthening hospital services and providing allowances of over IDR 30 million for specialist doctors in border areas, to ensure equitable access to healthcare for all children of the nation.

On the governance side, Hariqo emphasized President Prabowo’s commitment to clean and efficient governance.

“Since day one, the President has intensified efficiency efforts, resulting in savings of Rp300 trillion,” he said.

He also stated that within one year, corruption eradication had succeeded in returning Rp1,000 trillion of state funds, as well as repossessing 4 million hectares of previously misused state land.

“For the first time in history, profit-sharing for state-owned enterprise commissioners has been eliminated, saving the state Rp 8 trillion. This proves the President is not selective in eradicating corruption,” Hariqo emphasized.

Hariqo believes that the spirit of the Youth Pledge must be interpreted as a shared commitment to reject corruption.

“Young people, don’t hesitate, don’t commit corruption, and don’t harm society. That’s the true spirit of the Youth Pledge,” he said.

Meanwhile, Papuan youth figure Billy Mambrasar assessed President Prabowo’s programs as a concrete manifestation of youth and local community empowerment. He highlighted how youth involvement in the MBG program has had a broad economic impact.

“Young people play a significant role in managing the kitchen, providing nutritious meals for students, and collaborating with millennial farmers. This is not a separate program, but a unified whole that builds the whole Indonesian people,” Billy said.

According to him, human development takes 10–20 years to bear fruit, and the younger generation must actively seize the opportunities provided by the government.

Billy also invited all young people to make the spirit of the Youth Pledge a guideline for their daily lives.

“The meaning of the Youth Pledge is that everyone has equal opportunities. Love for the homeland, social responsibility, and active participation must continue to be fostered,” he stressed.

Both Hariqo and Billy emphasized that the Youth Pledge was not merely a ceremony, but a moral and social movement to build a clean, healthy, and dignified Indonesia.

“We are no longer as polarized as before. Now is the time to unite, remind each other, and work together for a more advanced Indonesia,” Hariqo concluded.
