Cross-Institutional Collaboration Accelerates Access to Subsidized Housing in Regions

Jakarta — The government through cross-agency collaboration accelerates public access to subsidized housing in various regions. This collaboration involves related ministries or institutions, banks and local governments to ensure the subsidized housing program runs more effectively and evenly to remote areas of Indonesia.
Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait said the involvement of the banking sector in financing subsidized houses is one of the important factors in the success of the national housing program. He appreciated Bank Mandiri’s concrete steps that continue to actively synergize with the government.
“We really appreciate Bank Mandiri’s concrete steps to continue to actively synergize with the government,” said Maruarar.
The success of the subsidized housing program is a shared commitment to ensure that people have decent housing.
“This is not just about financing, but part of a shared commitment to ensure that people can have decent housing for the community,” said Maruarar.
This strategic step is part of Bank Mandiri’s active contribution in distributing subsidized mortgage financing through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) scheme.
Meanwhile, Bank Mandiri President Director, Darmawan Junaidi said that this realization is a reflection of the company’s seriousness in taking a strategic role in the national housing sector.
“We do not only want to be a distributor, but also an accelerator in line with the commitment to accelerate the realization of subsidized housing financing for the community,” said Darmawan.
The synergy between Bank Mandiri and the Ministry of PKP is also a reflection of the importance of collaboration between the public sector in strengthening the national financing system.
“Through this initiative, Bank Mandiri is not only expanding the reach of financing services, but also taking an active role in creating sustainable social impact,” said Darmawan.
This cross-institutional collaboration is expected to reduce bureaucratic obstacles, accelerate the construction of subsidized houses, and improve the quality of life of the community, especially in areas that have not been optimally reached. –
