The Jakarta men’s volleyball team STIN BIN won a dramatic victory over Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi in the first series of the 2023 PLN Mobile Proliga final at GOR Tri Dharma Petrokimia Gresik, East Java, Thursday night.
The match between the two teams between Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi and Jakarta STIN BIN was very fierce, forcing the two teams to play five sets with a tight score of 3-2 (23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 22-25, 17-15).
With this result, Farhan Halim and friends are at the top of the standings with a score of 2 (two) points. Followed by Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi in second place with 1 (one) point.
Jakarta STIN BIN even almost lost in the fifth set to Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi with a 11-14 set, however, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi failed to take advantage of the point advantage and STIN BIN managed to regain points in the fifth set.
“This is called lucky, luck. We were behind and almost lost, but we were able to turn the situation around and win,” said Assistant Coach for Jakarta STIN BIN Agoes Jumaidi after the match.
The assistant coach of Jakarta STIN BIN also said that his team’s luck was due to the mistakes and failure of Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi in taking advantage of the points advantage.
“Luckily the opponent also made mistakes and we were able to catch up to win the game,” he explained.
This success is the fruit of the successful coaching of the State Intelligence Agency Sports Association (PORBIN) to be able to win the championship.
