Enlivening the 2023-2027 PSSI Chairperson Candidates Exchange, Erick Thohir Gets Public Sympathy
JAKARTA – PSSI Extraordinary Congress (KLB) will be held on 16 February 2023. The congress aims to be the venue for the election of the General Chairperson, Deputy General Chairperson, and members of the Executive Committee.
There are five names that have been officially declared as candidates for the general chairman of PSSI for the 2023-2027 period. As previously known, Erick Thohir is one of the names of the candidates who have officially become the general chairman of PSSI in the upcoming 16 February KLB.
The man who has served as BUMN Minister since 2019 has experience in the world of international football. One of them, Erick, once owned the Inter Milan football club and was called the “savior of Inter Milan”.
Based on this track record, Erick Thorir received support from various parties related to him as a candidate for the general chairman of PSSI.
Indonesian football legend Peri Sandria expressed support for SOE Minister Erick Thohir to become the General Chair of PSSI for the 2023-2027 period.
“He has been tested while still holding the Inter Milan club. He is very professional and has succeeded there,” said Peri, Tuesday (14/02/2023).
Other support also came from the Ketum Asprov PSSI Aceh, Nazir Adam. According to him, Erick will be able to advance Indonesian football because he has professional and qualified experience.
“If you want Indonesian football to be advanced and strong, then you need a leader who has the capacity and qualified experience. That’s why we support Erick Thohir as the general chairman of PSSI,” said Nazir.
Meanwhile, Tsamara Amany also provides support and is optimistic that Erick Thohir can advance Indonesian football if he is elected as the General Chair of PSSI for the 2023-2027 period.
“This track record will be an important point in Erick’s candidacy and the experience he has will be an asset in running PSSI if elected later. For PSSI there is nothing better than Erick Thohir,” said Tsamara.
