The myriad benefits of the issuance of the Job Creation Perppu by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, are able to strengthen the fundamentals of the national economy so that this nation can become stronger and ready to face all conditions of global economic uncertainty that are currently occurring.
As it is known that one of the bases for the issuance of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law ( Perppu ) Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation ( Ciptaker ) , is also contained in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which stipulates that the purpose The formation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) is indeed to create a prosperous, just, prosperous and equitable society both materially and spiritually.
Not only has it been contained in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution, but it has also been contained in Article 27 paragraph (21) of the 1945 Constitution which stipulates that every citizen has the right to work and a decent living for humanity, therefore the state really needs to carry out various kinds of efforts or actions to be able to fulfill the rights of citizens in order to be able to get a decent job and livelihood.
It is also undeniable that the fulfillment of citizens’ rights to work and a decent living is in principle one of the important aspects of national development which the government continues to carry out in the context of developing a complete Indonesian human being.
The Central Government has also made various efforts to be able to create and expand jobs in order to reduce the number of unemployed and also accommodate new workers, as well as to continue to encourage the development of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the aim of being able to improve the national economy , which of course can also improve the welfare of society.

Afriansyah Noor added that the existence of this Perppu on Job Creation is not only to carry out the mandate and Decision of the Constitutional Court and to be able to create quality job opportunities, but also to be able to help strengthen the fundamentals of the national economy to continue to maintain competitiveness. Because now there is increasing uncertainty in the world economy , which continues to encourage all nations to be able to adapt to change.
Meanwhile, Professor of Business Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Prof. Nindyo Pramono at the same discussion event initiated by the Moya Institute also explained that the world is currently facing a lot of disruptions . The world’s disruption is a prolonged impact of the COVID-19 pandemic , coupled with the issue of climate change which has been exacerbated by the geopolitical conflicts that occurred in Russia and Ukraine .
