KST’s Strict Law, Papuan Figures Condemn the Murder of Humanitarian Activists
Fully supporting strict punishment for KST Papua, many parties, including community leaders in Bumi Cenderawasih, themselves strongly condemned the murder cases carried out by separatist gangs on humanitarian activists.
One of the Papuan Community Leaders, Yonas Alfons Nusy, fully supports strict law enforcement against Separatist and Terrorist Groups (KST) in Bumi Cenderawasih. This is because of the many cruel and barbaric acts that they have been carrying out, including killing civilians.
The sad thing is that the murder victim of the separatist gang was a woman who was a humanitarian activist and she always fought for the rights of the indigenous Papuan people (OAP) themselves. Instead of getting appreciation for her performance, the woman became a victim of KST’s barbarity.
It is clear that all this time, all the disturbances that have been carried out by terrorist groups in the easternmost province of the country have seriously injured the lives of all indigenous Papuan communities (OAP) there and on their own land. The reason is, in fact, the people in the land of the Black Pearl.
Apart from that, it also appears that all the atrocities that have been carried out by the separatist gangs are very serious forms of human crime and are serious violations of human rights because they threaten lives.
It’s not enough to stop there, but all the barbarity and actions they carry out are also very structured crimes so that this must be stopped as soon as possible by all levels of security forces from joint personnel from both the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the National Police. Republic of Indonesia (Polri) by carrying out very strict law enforcement.
The murder case of a humanitarian activist named Michelle Kurisi Doga was a humanitarian tragedy which was indeed very barbaric, carried out by KST Papua against a native Papuan woman herself, even though she was still related to traditional leaders in Bumi Cenderawasih.
Learning about the murder case, Yonas Alfons Nusy as a community figure in Papua immediately criticized the terrorist gang very harshly. He said that God would never listen and would never approve of any activities they carried out because they continued to intensify very barbaric behavior and destroy the self-esteem of women in Papua on their own land.
Meanwhile, in line with the condemnation expressed by the Community Figure in Bumi Cenderawasih, Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) Bambang Soesatyo also strongly condemned the murder case of the humanitarian activist named Michelle Kurisi Doga.
There have been many actions that have been very detrimental to various parties carried out by KST Papua, and now they have even claimed more lives. So that the ongoing acts of murder and terror that continue to be intensified by treason groups should be stopped as soon as possible with a very tough and firm attitude by all levels of the security apparatus, the approach taken should no longer be in the form of discussion.
Bearing in mind, so far, even though the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) continues to appeal to all parties, including the ranks of the security forces from joint personnel, so that they can use a humanist approach by dialogue with KST, but because they have already committed so many atrocious acts, it seems that this approach These methods of discussion should be worthy of evaluation.
Apart from that, so far all the discussion approaches carried out by the TNI and Polri security forces have even been assisted by many other parties such as community leaders, traditional leaders and even local religious leaders, which continue to be rejected by the separatist gangs in Bumi Cenderawasih.
The conflict situation in Papua, especially in the Papua Mountains region, cannot be viewed simply. Because many times, crimes against humanity have always been brutal acts committed by KST Papua.
Not only humanitarian activists, but some time before, separatist and terrorist groups in the Black Pearl country also treated official health workers (nakes) and community health centers very inhumanely even though they were carrying out their duties and obligations.
Very strong criticism came from various elements of society, including community leaders in Papua itself and the current Chair of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly. They all condemned very strongly the act of murder carried out by KST Papua on one of the humanitarian activists. So strict punishment is indeed appropriate to be given to them.
