Regarding this matter, the President of Persiraja, Zulfikar SBY stated that Erick Thohir himself did have experience in managing football. He even served as President of Inter Milan, which is one of the Seria A clubs in the Italian League.

Kesit Handoyo also added that Erick Thohir would have the task of repairing the system at PSSI which had so far been classified as chaotic. One example is related to the registration of a professional club which must meet a number of requirements, but in fact there are still clubs that can qualify even though they cannot fulfill all of these requirements.
