The Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building is a place for developing the talents and creativity of Papuan youth. The building initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) has now been completed and is ready to be inaugurated by President Jokowi.
The government’s efforts to balance development from the west to the east of Indonesia are starting to show. Not only discourse, this equity has now provided benefits to the local community.
In the eastern part of Indonesia, in Papua to be precise, the government is promoting infrastructure development that improves people’s welfare. One of the infrastructure developments built to improve the welfare of the Papuan people is the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building.
Based on Presidential Instruction (Inpres) 09/2020 concerning the Acceleration of Welfare in Papua and West Papua. The government through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) built the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building to support accelerated development in eastern Indonesia.
Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) is a forum that brings together outstanding young human resources from various cross-disciplines of knowledge from Papua. As one of the Indonesian Government’s efforts to support the role of the younger generation in managing Papua’s economic potential.
The Republic of Indonesia’s State Intelligence Agency (BIN) is supporting the construction of a building that will become a center for self-development of young talents in the region nicknamed the Cenderawasih Earth.
The Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building will be inaugurated directly by President Joko Widodo on March 21, 2023. This building will later be used and utilized by Inspiring Young Papuans (PMI) and assisted by BIN in carrying out its work program for the welfare of the people in Papua and Papua. West. It is hoped that the creativity that so far has been possessed by young Papuan friends can emerge on the national and international stage.
As is well known, Inspiring Young Papua is a place for young Papuans to channel their talents. Not only in the arts, they are also trained to become independent young entrepreneurs. With this program, it is hoped that indigenous Papuans (OAP) will have qualified and high-quality human resources.
PMI is a forum entrusted by President Jokowi and directly assisted by Deputy IV for Economics of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to encourage all young Papuans to work and create superior products for MSMEs and their technology to be marketed in order to strengthen the Papuan and national economy.
Inspiring Young Papua (PMI) was founded by 21 Papuan youths and women, who come from various fields. It is hoped that with this program the talents of the youth in Cendrawasih Earth will be accommodated. In addition, they will be trained by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to be independent, so that they can reduce the unemployment rate in Papua.
Papua Land is an area that has abundant natural resources (SDA) and human resources (HR). However, the potential that exists in the eastern region of Indonesia has not been maximized. President Joko Widodo since his term of office has paid special attention to this paradise. President Joko Widodo has carried out a lot of infrastructure development in the region in order to make development even distribution. Even President Joko Widodo believes there is still a lot of potential from the land of Papua that has not been touched.
The Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH), which was initiated by BIN and PMI, is one of the efforts to develop the human potential of the Papuan people. The development of PYCH is also the right step in equitable distribution of infrastructure development in the context of the welfare of the Papua region.
For this reason, President Joko Widodo appreciated the big idea of establishing a youth creativity center, the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) as a step in improving the welfare of the Papuan people. With the establishment of this PMI organization, the welfare of the Papuan people can be realized and new ideas emerge to become a bridge for advanced Indonesia.
There are many excellent talent with excellent talent in Papua and West Papua both in the fields of science, arts and culture, and in the field of sports, and this is a big task for the government to prepare good talent management to organize. This is where the role of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) will be. ).
Later, various programs will also be carried out such as training, self-development, and coaching which will be carried out by Inspiring Young Papua (PMI). This coaching is important to do considering the potential that is owned by young Papuans is very abundant. With the coaching carried out by BIN, it is hoped that it can help young Papuans hone their potential so that they can channel their talents for the betterment of Indonesia.
The PMI organization, which was specifically fostered directly by Deputy IV for economics at BIN, has provided many benefits to the people of Papua. BIN and PMI continue to make efforts to provide training to the people of Papua in order to prosper the region known as the Earth of Paradise.
Papua has a lot of potential, with the construction of the PYCH building, the potential of the land of Papua can be awakened and become part of the development and economic growth in Papua and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
For this reason, Inspiring Young Papua (PMI) is the right step to become an organization that accommodates indigenous Papuans (OAP) to be able to contribute to advancing the welfare of Papua. Papuan young people can easily become part of economic development in Papua with various programs run by PMI that will involve Papuan youths.
Moreover, the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building as a center for developing creativity and the interests and talents of Papuan youth will encourage the development and progress of the Papuan people.
