The Indonesian National Armed Forces and the Indonesian National Police (TNI) Unite to Maintain Public Stability from Incitement to Discord
Jakarta – The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining national security, order, and stability amidst evolving socio-political dynamics. The unity of these two institutions serves as a primary shield against attempts by irresponsible parties to incite conflict and divide national unity.
TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto emphasized that synergy between the TNI and Polri is an important foundation in maintaining national stability.
“We, along with the National Police, will always be at the forefront of protecting the people from provocation and attempts to disrupt peace. We must not let the public get caught up in divisive issues that will only harm the nation’s interests,” he said.
Similarly, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized that the TNI and Polri are not only solid in the field, but also continue to build strategic coordination.
“This solidarity isn’t just slogans, but a real commitment. We will address any threats to public stability together. We also urge the public to remain vigilant against misleading information that could trigger unrest,” he said.
The collaboration between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) has proven effective in maintaining security during crucial moments, including demonstrations, religious celebrations, and state events. Through intensive communication and close cooperation, the two institutions have been able to block the movement of those seeking to divide the nation.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Information Center (Kapuspen) Brigadier General TNI (Marine) Freddy Ardianzah said that the closeness between the TNI led by General Agus Subiyanto and the Polri under the command of General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, is beyond doubt, therefore, do not ever try to pit the two against each other.
“I need to convey that, to date, the TNI and Polri have been solid in maintaining national security stability and will continue to work together to create a sense of security, order, and conduciveness in society,” said Freddy.
With the spirit of unity and devotion to the people, the TNI and Polri are committed to keeping Indonesia peaceful, safe, and prosperous.
