Jakarta – The synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) has been reaffirmed as a key pillar in maintaining national security stability. The solidarity of these two institutions is seen as crucial to preventing potential provocations from groups seeking to divide the nation.

Head of the Propam Division of the South Kalimantan Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Hery Purnomo, emphasized that the TNI and Polri in the region are always committed to maintaining a conducive situation.

“There is no doubt that all TNI and Polri personnel, especially in South Kalimantan, must continue to maintain solid relations and unity for the sake of a conducive region,” said Hery.

He added that harmonious relations between officers are key to anticipating potential friction or misunderstandings early on.

“Certainly, the harmonious relationship and synergy between the TNI and Polri need to be strengthened in response to any indications or potential for provocation that could lead to disturbances to public order and security,” he said.

The presence of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) on the ground has received appreciation from various parties. The Coordinator of the People’s Alliance for the Nation (ARPN), Mario, emphasized that the public fully supports the security forces.

“Never give space to those who want to weaken national unity. We believe the TNI and Polri are solid and strongly committed to protecting the people,” said Mario.

According to Mario, the success of maintaining stability depends not only on the security forces, but also on the public’s awareness to reject provocation.

“The synergy between the TNI, Polri, and the people is the nation’s true bulwark. If we are united, any provocation will fall,” he emphasized.

Similarly, several youths from the Indonesian People’s Solidarity Alliance (ASRI) and the National Coalition of Indonesian Women (KNPRI) also strongly rejected the anarchic actions during the demonstration. The ASRI-KNPRI Coordinator, Fikri, stated that freedom of expression must be exercised in an orderly manner.

“All forms of anarchic acts, vandalism, and attempts to pit the people against the police and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) will only harm the people, damage the image of the struggle, and harm the spirit of democracy,” he said.

“These are despicable and barbaric acts,” Fikri added.

Meanwhile, intelligence observer from the University of Indonesia, Stanislaus Riyanta, emphasized that intelligence has worked optimally to provide early information. However, the torrent of provocation on social media often causes situations to develop rapidly on the ground.

“I am sure that intelligence has provided information regarding this planned demonstration to their respective users,” he said.

With the solidarity of the TNI and Polri and the support of the public who reject anarchism, national stability is believed to be maintained. Democracy can continue to thrive in a safe and peaceful atmosphere.
