Labuan Bajo — Traditional leader of Kampung Kaper, Martinus Rubus expressed his gratitude to President Joko Widodo and fully supports the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
The reason is, in 2023, Indonesia will again be trusted as chairman of the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
According to him, the 2023 ASEAN Summit held in Labuan Bajo had an impact on improving the welfare of the local community.
“We support the 2023 ASEAN Summit, thank you Mr. Jokowi, we support one hundred percent of the ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo to advance society,” said Martinus.
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Ruteng Diocese, Agustinus Munfred also expressed his full support for the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.
“I express my full support for the holding of the ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo,” he said.
Agustinus also appealed to all people to have a strong commitment in maintaining calm and security during the ASEAN Summit.
“We also call on all people of the Ruteng diocese to be committed to maintaining calm and security so that later the entire process of holding the ASEAN Summit can run well,” he appealed.
He also did not forget to mention support for the security forces and intelligence agencies.
The Secretary General of Ruteng Diocese really hopes that the 2023 ASEAN Summit can run well, smoothly and safely.
“For this reason, we express support to the security forces and intelligence so that they can work and succeed in improving security during the meeting,” concluded Agustinus.
