Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Kotawaringin Barat (Kobar) Regency in this year, Central Kalimantan achieved again the grace of Adipura. The Grace of Adipura was left by Vice President RI, Yusuf Kalla and received directly by the Kobar’s Regent, Bambang Purwanto, SST M.H. The procession of the giving the trophy of Adipura was in the Birawa Assembly Hall Hotel Bidakara, Jakarta, Monday (23/11).
Achievements at the national level for Kota Manis called Pangkalan Bun, already 8 times in a row got grace Adipura, Then, this year Kotawaringin Barat reached Adipura Award for the 9th time.
In addition, Pangkalan Bun also achieved the best value for small towns which are obtained the points accumulated from several stages of assessment and verified by a team from the Ministry of environment and forests, and then it made Pangkalan bun reached the highest point national level for the category of small-town.
Kobar Regent, Bambang Purwanto felt proud towards the achievements of Kobar in achieves the Adipura grace ninth. According to him, by the award, he reminded that it is a step to always keep the environment and clean. Bambang also reminded how important the role of the community in an effort to safeguard the environment.
“In the future we will increase to stimulate all parties to take part in an attempt to keep the environment, not only in schools and government offices but also private companies will also be involved in the environmental assessment,” said Bambang.
