The public is advised to carry out booster vaccinations and always comply with the Health Protocol (Prokes) in order to realize a safe homecoming during the 2022 Eid season. With this public compliance, the spike in Covid-19 cases after Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H can be avoided.

Even though the government has allowed people to go home for Eid in 2022, all residents must follow the existing requirements so that the Covid-19 spike does not occur after the 2022 Eid homecoming. At least the requirement is that they must have carried out the third dose of vaccination or booster and of course follow health protocols.

Meanwhile, it is a requirement that the public must have carried out a booster vaccine, but for those who have not yet implemented it, they must still bring and be able to show evidence of an antigen swab test. Of course, all the efforts and rules that have been put in place are to protect us all from the spread of the pandemic that is currently sloping in Indonesia.

As has been stipulated in the Circular Letter (SE) of the Covid-19 Task Force Number 16 of 2022 concerning Provisions for Traveling Domestic People during a Pandemic, that those who have undergone a booster vaccine do not at all need to show evidence of a negative test result, either in the form of a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or antigen. In addition, travelers aged 6 to 17 years do not need to show a negative test result.

Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Prof. Wiku Adisasmito, said that people who have undergone booster vaccines or those who are travellers aged 6 to 17 years can simply show their PeduliLindung application.

Meanwhile, for people who are still only running the primary vaccine, namely the first two doses, they can go home for Eid 2022 by showing a negative antigen test at least within 1×24 hours or using a negative PCR result within 3×24 hours before the departure of their trip. Especially for people who still receive only one dose of vaccine, they are required to use the negative PCR test.

All preparations for the 2022 Lebaran homecoming trip can be made by the community starting before, during the travel period and even after arriving at the destination. Although the survey data shows that nationally controlling Covid-19 in Indonesia is under control, Prof. Wiku appealed to the public not to be careless.

He emphasized that evenly distributed vaccination in an area is one of the most important keys to be able to break the rope of the spread of Covid-19 because according to him, if there is a community that achieves immunity or immunity to the virus, then automatically they will not harm the surrounding community and create conditions. to be far relatively safe.

Therefore, it is very important to have an even distribution of immunity in every community so that protection from Covid-19 throughout Indonesia is even more optimal. Furthermore, Prof Wiku also said that vaccines must and must be carried out for all people without exception, including those who have previously been exposed to and recovered from Covid-19.

This is because, like direct appeals from the WHO and CDC that it turns out that someone who has contracted Covid-19 then recovers, it doesn’t mean he can’t be infected anymore, but the potential for infection is still there and there could even be a much greater risk of contracting it if they were infected. not vaccinated at all.

Let’s all try together to make the Government’s efforts to stop the transmission of Covid-19, especially during the 2022 Eid homecoming, a success. Don’t forget to fulfill all the requirements that have been regulated so that our homecoming trip will be safe and healthy, without the need to bring sick souvenirs to your hometown.
