The current handling of the Covid-19 pandemic tends to improve. The public is also advised to always obey the Health Procedures and follow vaccinations so that the positive trend of controlling Covid-19 can be maintained, especially after Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H/2022/

The Ministry of Health stated that the control of Covid-19 in Indonesia had greatly improved. It can simply be concluded that we succeeded in handling and controlling the pandemic. Even the daily figures only show about 317 cases.

This proves that the vaccination that has so far been promoted by the Government and is also followed by the entire community in an orderly manner, including their adherence to maintaining health protocols is very effective in efforts to control the pandemic. With this reality, the government finally dared to provide various kinds of concessions for the community to carry out their activities.

One of the policies that was very well received by the community was the permission to travel for Eid homecoming on the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr 2022. This is different from the policy of 2 years ago because in comparison, for this year the government has succeeded in lowering the curve of the spread of Covid-19 so that we can celebrate victory day with our extended family.

Siti Nadia as Spokesperson for Vaccination for Covid-19 stated that all of Indonesia’s successes up to the present point were the result of a joint role, including the obedience of the entire community in following every government policy, especially the success of evenly distributing vaccines in various locations.

The enthusiasm of the community in following the vaccination is very high. In fact, according to data, in Indonesia alone, people who have undergone the first dose of vaccination have reached 95.5 percent, then for those who have taken the second dose it is at 78.8 percent as of April 25, 2022.

The next target that will be applied by the government is at least by May 2022 the second dose of vaccination can reach 80 percent. Then regarding the achievement of the third dose or booster vaccine itself, it has reached 17 percent in Indonesia.

Of course in the future the Government will also continue to intensify the provision of booster vaccinations for the entire community because it is very effective in being able to immediately increase the body’s immunity in warding off the virus. Giving booster vaccines will be able to increase our antibody defenses in carrying out all activities later.

However, there is one thing that is quite worrying. Namely, because the government has provided leeway for the community to carry out mobility, including carrying out the 2022 Eid homecoming trip, it is now the community’s duty to continue to protect themselves and their entire extended family from the risk of disease transmission.

Based on records, after a long vacation, a sudden spike in cases occurred. However, by looking at all the data above, there is great hope that there will not be a spike in Covid-19 cases. Therefore, the whole community must be able to maintain their respective conditions. This is indeed a joint test for all of us, regarding how we are able to maintain this controlled pandemic status in Indonesia with no spike in cases.

The first thing that is very important is indeed about vaccination which has proven to be very effective in minimizing the risk of transmission or at least being able to make the effects of the virus weaken when it attacks the body. With the primary vaccination rate already exceeding 70 percent, at least we are all able to be more optimistic in facing the Covid-19 pandemic.

The public is advised to remain obedient to Prokes and follow vaccinations because maintaining positive trends in controlling Covid-19 is our collective duty. With the collaboration and synergy among the nation’s children, it is hoped that the explosion of Covid-19 cases after Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H/2022 can be avoided.
