CIDISS – Central Kalimantan province had record a history and broken the world record for the most dancer. The record is broken after people of Central Kalimantan did the Manasai dance together in 13 regencies and 1 city. Indonesia World Record Museum (MURI) record, there were 79.243 dancers in that occasion. We need to be proud, because it represents the local culture.
In Palangka Raya, the capital city of Central Kalimantan Province, Manasai dance is centered in centre of city, Round of city (Bundaran besar). The world charter is given directly by Manager Senior of MURI, Yusuf Nadri to Central Kalimantan Provincial government which is represent by Regional Secretary; Syahrin Daulay, Chief of Central Kalimantan Police; Brigjen Pol Anang Revandoko, Danrem 102/Pjg; Colonel Naudi Nurdika and Mayor of Palangka Raya; HM Riban Satia.
“People of Central Kalimantan are together dance and it is never done in any history of MURI, which is one provincial together in dance. I myself do not exactly memorize the number of dancer in every region, but we have verified, there are 79.243 dancers in this occasion. And, MURI will record this as world record,” said Yusuf as in Kaltengprokal.co
The broken of world record in actually initiated by Korem 102/Pjg in celebrating the anniversary the-43 of Panjung Panjung.
The basic concept of this event, not only about broken the world record, but also the diversity, said Colonel Naudi Nurdika. Even Menasai dance is culture of Dayak, but another region also involved in this occasion.
“Through local culture, we apply the diversity that we have. The message of this even is not only about record, but also the togetherness,” said him.
