The national vaccination program is targeted to be 100% successful because it has a huge impact on public health and the National Economic Recovery (PEN). When everyone is healthy then we can rise together against corona and raise the country’s financial condition again.
The government is trying hard to fight the ferocity of the corona storm by implementing national vaccinations since early 2021. Vaccines are given free of charge to all Indonesian citizens, with the hope that they will be willing to be injected and have body resistance to the covid-19 virus. When you will fly abroad and travel to several other places, you are also required to show a vaccine card.
The government targets the vaccination to be completed within 12 months, 6 months faster than the prediction of the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin. President Jokowi himself asked for this acceleration, because it will greatly affect Indonesia’s economic recovery. If all have been vaccinated, they will be enthusiastic about work and can work together to restore the country’s financial condition.
Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Ministry of Finance Febrio Kacaribu stated that the uneven economic recovery was caused by differences in the pandemic situation, the speed of vaccination, and support for economic stimulus. Many countries experienced a decline in projections such as Malaysia and Thailand.
Febrio added, the opposite in developed countries such as the United States and South Korea, increased although not by 5%. The country’s economy is improving because it has strong access to vaccinations. In a sense, there is a close relationship between vaccination and economic growth.
Logically, for example, if only 50% of the population has been vaccinated and has immunity to the corona virus, then they will be enthusiastic about working (by complying with health protocols of course). So that it will be able to improve the country’s economic conditions even if slowly. The reason is because factories continue to produce and people work diligently, and ultimately increase purchasing power in the market and nourish the country’s economy.
Compared to if everyone was reluctant to be vaccinated, it would be easy to contract the covid-19 virus. If he is sick then he must leave for at least 2 weeks and is not productive. When many are sick it will be sad because factories and offices cannot run as usual due to a shortage of personnel and ultimately performance declines.
In addition, the office or factory where he works must also be sterilized for a minimum of 14 days because it is sprayed with disinfectant and must be completely hygienic so that no residual virus is left behind. So if this happens, it will affect the productivity of the office. The factory also has to shut down the engine for a long time so that it will lose time and costs. The country’s economy is also hampered by it.
Therefore vaccination is very important to prevent bad things like this. If everyone had been injected, there would not have been a tragedy like this. Therefore, the CEO or head of the office should provide independent vaccination as an effort to keep all employees healthy. So that no one gets corona and can heal the country’s finances together.
To speed up vaccination, the Ministry of Health is targeting 1 million vaccinations every day. Points for vaccination were also added, not only in hospitals and health centers but also in other public places such as stadiums and fields. Vaccination is also carried out in good cooperation with the police and TNI, and they are ready to serve people who want to be healthy.
